not many players either
Not many players on the ps4/ps5 playing bf4 either, only two servers with decent pings and some players last weekend.
Played BF5 on PC in Jan 2024. $5 and 1x AU server and got owned as they live on the game, plus know the maps. Noob me, but not a noob to shooters. BRING IT
But yeah soon fixed out the wireless module drops out, lost packets. Need to get an ethernet cat6 cable and run it.
Cheaters killed this game. They were in every map, just spinning around killing everyone. It was evident in the scoreboard, with a couple of players sitting on 200+ kills. Almost everyone just gave up and left the match, leaving a very lopsided game that was no fun for anyone. And then they'd join a different match, only to be abused by another cheater.
EA improved their anti-cheat more recently, but it was too little too late - almost everyone had already moved on and started playing other things.
Tried it a while ago. Refunded it as it was mostly dead. Couldn't find a server with active players despite trying to play in the evening.
Theres still active Australian servers on BFV and BF1. You need to adjust the filters in the server browser.
Set the "Slots" to "None", "1-5" and "6-10" (and 10+ if you want low player servers to show). Then set region to Oceania and save the filter.
Theres usually 3 full servers of 64 players so you'll have to wait in queue but its worth it once you get in.

bought it a while back and cant say i enjoyed it that much, maybe its because im tainted by BF1 and still like it so much
