Thanks - I wish-listed a few stray titles that I wasn't aware of not existing within my GOG library…

Tier 2 (includes Tier 1) listed as D&D Classics on GOG (and Steam) and asking a hefty price for their complete bundle, for what it's worth.

Wow this is an incredible bundle for me, had every single one of those games on my wishlist!

  • there's no way to get GOG keys for this, right? Steam only?

      Steam only. Thanks OP.

Unfortunately it's not a one-key bundle. You need to redeem 13 keys!

I just bought the humble Steam bundle even tho already own most on GOG individually.
Being DOSBox, they can be launched outside of Steam.

Worth the buy if intend to actually play them!
And you don't mind the PC DOS versions… - Commodore Amiga had better palette and sfx and music; and even the C64 did here, too? Or that my nostalgia going too far?

Those bought individually on GOG (standalone titles not available via Steam?) have received less attention than these somewhat more polished, completer packages.

For instance, if we take Champions of Krynn,
      complete versus individual:

Less chaotic directory tree and no GOG cruft.

      DOSBOX 0.74-2 versus 0.74-3

Gold Box Companion integration tho outdated?

pdf's Table of Contents have added List view.
      ;individual installer is missing Controls.pdf

and more, however, the game's files matched.

GOG's standalone is started by Shortcut .lnk

      CHDIR /D "C:\GOG Games\Champions of Krynn\DOSBOX"

      "C:\GOG Games\Champions of Krynn\DOSBOX\DOSBox.exe" -conf "..\dosboxChampionsOfKrynn.conf" -conf "..\dosboxChampionsOfKrynn_single.conf" -noconsole -c "exit"

      And Steam complete has 2 run.bat + 1 config.

Oh man, I played that Krynn series to death when I was a kid. Instant buy.

Way back when I remember paying a lot more than $15 for just Champions of Krynn on the Amiga.

    • +1

I still remember, $100 for the Krynn Gold box in like 1992

    How's it on Steam Deck?

    • A quick steam page check says not compatible

  • Awesome! Thanks for sharing this humble fans here.
