I would get one. especially for photography this is a very good camera. Nikon's F1.8 primes are affordable and pro grade. and 3rd party lenses are coming slowly if you'd like to try. TCO is lower than going Canon, and much more comfortable to use compared to Sony. plus Nikon colors.
but for studio work on a budget I would just get original Canon EOS R refurb from Ted's. $1400 now and maybe they will have another sale on refurb in August, I got mine for $1200 from them in Feb this year when they had 15% off refurb. Had 8k shutters on it, and look and feel brand new. got extended 2yr warranty for $99 more. battery grip was $120 from eBay.
Canon RF 24-105 F4 is around $1200 used. stopped down to F8 it replaces a few primes easily. so TCO of $2400-2600 for complete system. EOS R 30mp sensor from 5d mk iv is a great performer in controlled lighting, good resolution better than 24mp for cropping
alternatively wait for Sony store refurbished deals on eBay. refurb a7 iv was 2300 and when it coincides with extra 15% off that's a great body if Sony is your thing. GM primes also can be had refurbished for good price and you got yourself a pro kit for nickels
but. if you only buy new, yeah this Nikon is a good deal. shame no cashback.
I used one of these as a back up to my z9 last night and it was very impressive, and at this price its a great deal… considering i payed the same price for a Nikon D70 back in 2004ish. Pitty that it only uses SD cards, but apart from that a great system in a smallish form factor.
