Needak Folding Rebounder $899 & Free Shipping (Save $135) @ Needak Australia

15
OZB-WINTERS-END

We are doing a one week deal for our rebounders (mini-trampolines for fitness training) for the first week of August (1st to 7th). Being sourced and manufactured in USA, our products are non-toxic, contain no lead, and no off-gassing of plastics.

Rebounding can provide a myriad of health benefits including lymph node flushing, balance improvement and weight loss as well as muscle toning. Healthline

Our rebounders come with long warranties and we've been producing them and supporting our customers for over 30 years. The frame and multiple other components come with a lifetime warranty. Other parts come with Australian 12 month warranties and a double warranty direct from the manufacturer in USA that lasts longer. Springs will generally last for 3-5 years before having to replace broken ones (replacement parts available on our site). The main maintenance is lubricating the springs once every few months which takes about 5 minutes.

This deal is for one of our folding soft-bounce rebounders which is regularly $999. We're throwing in free shipping, making your total item cost $899 for a saving of $135. You can add any accessories you want, including a stabilizing bar, carry bag or spring cover should you want it.

Finally, our soft-bounce rebounders can support weights up to 300lbs (136kg). For individuals who need more support, go for the hard-bounce rebounder, which supports up to 600lbs (272kg).

Any questions about rebounding, shoot them over. Note that our rebounders are more expensive than generic re-branded ones because unlike normal trampolines, rebounders (mini-trampolines) take much more of a beating and need to withstand a lot more jumps per minute. Ours use high-gauge steel for the frames and piano wire for the springs which is why they will actually provide a pleasant bounce for years, and actually last for a long time.

      trambapoline?

    • +1

lol the thing is tiny for $1000 and magically cures all health problems. The springs and momentum do a lot of the work its not much exercise. You can go for a walk and get blood flow and your body moving and less risky.

Also side story this guy at my work injured his spine on a trampoline and then committed suicide after getting crippled for life.

      • I think we're in the side the story and the crippled for life / suicide is the real main story 😬

    • +2

I'm curious, how does your Needak Soft-Bounce Folding Rebounder (Black) differ to something like a Advwin 48" Mini Trampoline Rebounder Max Load 200KG which is approx 91% cheaper, can handle 200kg as opposed to 135kg and 48 inches as opposed to 40 inches?

      • Great question - there are a lot of rebounders flooding the market, some spring, some bungee. The problem is rebounders rely on elasticity which will always eventually need replacing (springs or bungees). As well, the type of elasticity matters - too soft and it is actually destructive for muscles, too hard and it is horrible for joints. So even with these two considerations, you need access to replacement parts for long term use and also want to ensure its a bounce that is in that goldilocks zone.

Unfortunately the rebounder you pointed out, like a majority of the lower cost rebounders on the market, are Asian imports that are marketed as providing a rebounding solution, but in almost all cases the bounce is pretty bad and they'll break within a few months - and that's if you're able to weather the quickly degrading elasticity.

This isn't just marketing jargon either. I've personally gone through different rebounders and settled on Needak years ago through trial and error and there's just a big difference between a well engineered rebounder and one that is just a random import meant to bring in a few bucks and satisfy an impulse. Our rebounders are investments that keep going with you if you stick with it.

The brand you mentioned is imported by these guys, for example, which appears to be similar to Kogan https://www.advwin.com.au/?srsltid=AfmBOoqM1tp9IUQk7wV6I_Hcm…

So the QC will be variable and it's hard to predict whether the product will perform ideally given its a rebranded generic import.

Long story short, the bounce will be jarring, the springs won't last, you won't find replacements, and it'll end up in the bin within a year and you'll never rebound again.

Here's another great question (I was in the process of editing my original comment but you got-in before I had the chance to submit the changes)

Did a little deep-dive on the WayBack Machine, it appears the current sale price has remained the same for atleast 2+ years…. OzAdvertise?

A notable mention is that back in March 2023, the Soft Bounce and Hard Bounce were $749/$849

          • +1

@Empharand: The current sale price has been the price for most of this year. In fact prices have gone up dramatically due to production costs in the US. Accordingly yes, two years ago, the price was lower, just as exchange rates, production costs, and inflation cause significant changes.

The current deal at 899 is the lowest price that's been offered in the last six months at least, and the sale price will likely go higher again at some point. This rebounder will never be available at this price point outside of deals like this.

              @Rosewood101:

We very rarely have sales on our rebounders but to commemorate a great 2025 and the end of a particularly cold winter, we are doing a one week deal for our rebounders.

              Vs

The current sale price has been the price for most of this year.

              I smell a rat.

@seanbaussie: Thanks for calling out the misleading sales talk mumbo-jumbo trying to create hype in order to profit from a community website for sharing bargains. Not really what it's meant for.

Why is it ~30% cheaper here?

Showing as $389.99 US, (roughly $607 AUD), is shipping to Aus $300???

      And, let's call a spade a spade, it's a trampoline

    • Didnt know what this was. From first read I thought it was a plastic inflatable model for recovering from a break up. The rebound. 😅😅. I thought ozbargain has changed

    • +4

it uniquely flushes lymph nodes, increases circulation, and helps burn fat throughout your entire body, getting blood flow to joints and places that otherwise get very little attention

You got a reputable source for those claims? It looks like a tiny overpriced trampoline, and the claims sound like bullshit.

Bouncing on a trampoline to help your lymph detoxify your body? There is no need to jump on that wellness trend
There … is little or no scientific evidence that rebounding benefits the lymph system, bones, mood or cellular health.

      • -4

Reputable source in deal. Your neg is unwarranted.

        • +3

I checked your link and it's a for profit website that doesn't provide reputable evidence to back up most of the claims. A lot of mays that are basically saying "well, maybe it can help with this" and cites sources that vary wildly in reliability.

I mean, for the lymph node thing it cites a book by a self-described nutritionist (ie. not a qualified dietician) who Wikipedia describes as "an American author and proponent of alternative medicine, especially fad diets" and her "ideas on health and nutrition are regarded as pseudoscience."

And for the supposed benefit of supporting pelvic floor health, it cites Goop of all things, FFS. Goop!

I stand by the links and comment in my original post - looks like a tiny overpriced trampoline, claims sound like bullshit.

But in any case, I negged it after reading of the other concerns regarding this "deal," not because of the dubious health claim.

          • @lint: If you drink water, you may get less thirsty. When it comes to health, YMWV, but rebounding has been tested by numerous groups, including NASA: https://www.womenshealthmag.com/uk/fitness/a64924965/rebound…

Though this isn't the place to get into a debate on health - we're simply stating what has been generally concluded about the benefits of rebounding, and what feedback has been provided to us by hundreds of customers.

And as clarified below for the original commenter, this is indeed a deal, and he/she was mistaken in mixing up the sale price with the deal price.

            • +1

@Rosewood101: I'm sorry, but I'm just gonna have to debunk this. I'm gonna assume you haven't actually read the NASA study and just parrot it because most people won't bother verifying the claims.

The NASA study found very specific results and were tested on a trampoline measuring 4.56x2.74m. It measured male participants 19-26 in age jumping 18, 37, 75, and 100cm off the trampoline bed. The basic findings are that jumping on a trampoline could be more efficient than running to maintain fitness in low-gravity environments like in space, as it results in greater and more consistent forces across the body - head, back and ankles for the same amount of energy expended.

I know the NASA study is very often wheeled out by rebounding woo proponents such as yourself as proof of its effectiveness, but that's the gist of its findings. It did not test and does not support the benefits of the sort of rebounding exercises this product is designed for, where your feet barely leave the trampoline surface.

I don't refute the benefits of using a proper trampoline as a form of exercise for helping bone and muscle strength. But the benefit will be correlated to the intensity of the workout, just with any other exercise. And that's not even getting to the fact that all the other crap about helping the lymph nodes flush out toxin or supporting pelvic floor health are completely unfounded.

Are there benefits to this rebounding thing for certain use cases? Possibly, for example those undergoing rehabilitation to help them regain strength. But If anyone else wants to get actual benefits out of trampolining without the bullshit, I would highly suggest a larger trampoline that actually allows them to safely attain a reasonable height.

        • Your own source healthline.com states…

"May stimulate the lymphatic system. Rebounding may help your body flush out toxins, bacteria, dead cells, and other waste products."

          Not exactly conclusive.

Also, more importantly, here's Wikipedia's opinion on "healthline.com" quoted below…

"Healthline Media, Inc. is an American website and provider of health information headquartered in San Francisco, California. It was founded in 1999, and purchased by Red Ventures in 2019. Healthline contains AI-generated articles, and is included on Wikipedia's spam blacklist due to its publication of misinformation."

Likewise, this may be a deal, but I doubt it.

You get a neg from me for spurious claims and the issues mentioned in other comments.

          • @A 1: You're very welcome to neg any deal you'd like, even if it's because your math was proven wrong.

            • @Rosewood101: Like I said, the neg was for your spurious claims, and for issues mentioned in other comments (from other users). Sorry if I wasn't specific enough about that for you.

On the math front, you didn't provide any breakdown at all, hence why I asked, so you had the opportunity to clarify for me, and everyone, in a professional manner. You replied with a few figures and some snarky comments.

Telling me my neg is because of my alleged incorrect maths is plain wrong. I negged for the other reasons, and, as per the site rules, I am expected to explain why I have negged the deal, so I provided that explanation.

    • Nope. The sale price on the website, not the coupon deal. Your neg is unwarranted.

  • We're not doing this again are we? Previous, similar deal was unpublished.

Why is it ~30% cheaper here? $389.99 US (~$609 AUD) is shipping $300???

    Also, let's call a spade a spade, it's a trampoline.

edit Added my comment before Mod edit which added all previous comments.

    • Nope. You excluded shipping costs in USA and taxes in Australia.

      • Ok, so the breakdown is +$220 shipping and +$83 GST, got it.

        • -1

          Math. Even at its most basic level, $389.99 + $33.50 = $423.49 USD = ~$656.41 AUD.

$899 AUD - 10% tax = $809.10 AUD, for a difference of $152.69 not taking into account any of the multitude of other costs involved in importing, packing, transporting, storing 1 meter long solid steel devices with warranties.

We do appreciate your enthusiasm, however.

  • +3

Rep spending more time arguing with users on here and responding in a passive aggressive and unprofessional manner to commenters rather than working to provide a clear bargain. Not putting prices up is not a bargain, and giving smug attitude to people who disagree is ridiculous. If I was a potential customer I would steer clear for this fact alone.

    • -2

Correcting confidently incorrect statements is not passive aggressive. It's important for those who want to benefit from rebounding (whether through us or other retailers) have a fair chance to learn about it. And approximately 13% off our current prices is a reasonably good deal for anyone who might be truly looking to invest in one. It's not 50% off, which would certainly be better, but we do our best.

      • +1

If you represented my business the way you've responded to people on here I'd sack you on the spot. But you do you.

        • +1

They need to do much better if they want to peddle their crap on here. Negged for terrible rep conduct.
