[QLD] 2-4-1 Coffee and Tea Daily @ Purr & Shine (Brisbane City)

170

Randomly came across this place while walking in the city on a Saturday morning. Went in for 2-4-1 coffees. Deal is running until 24th August. The couple running the shop were lovely and super friendly. Got a slice of something as a free treat too.

Coffee available in small, medium, large sizes. I paid $5.58 for two large coffees which I think is pretty damn good these days! For around the same price you can get one at Maccas.

I believe they are open from 5am - 3pm daily. No weekend surcharges.

Grab a loyalty card too.

I thought it was a cat cafe from the title

    • I think it somewhat is… the theme of it anyway

  • What's a soft opening

    • A soft launch for a café is a trial opening period before the official grand opening. It’s typically a low-key event that allows the business to:

      Purpose of a Soft Launch:
Test operations: Ensure kitchen, staff, systems, and suppliers all run smoothly.

Get feedback: From a limited group of customers (often friends, family, or invited locals).

Train staff: In a live environment, with less pressure than a full-scale opening.

Fine-tune the menu: Identify which dishes work well and which need adjustment.

Build early buzz: Gently generate word-of-mouth marketing before the big launch.

      Common Soft Launch Formats:
      Invite-only or limited public hours.

Smaller menu than what will be offered later.

Sometimes discounted or free meals in exchange for feedback.

      Duration:
Can last from a single day to several weeks, depending on the café’s needs and goals.

Think of it like a dress rehearsal before the big show — a chance to catch and fix issues before going all out.

      • I get if it's for friends and family but this looks like it's open to public.
        So it's just a launch.

I mean unless they're going to hold some big opening ceremony in the future because they've got too much money to burn
