When did they do that last?
Usually in March they do 30% off Kumho. Although they didn't do it this year it seems. Maybe he's talking about the 40% off Pirelli's usually in June. Or 50% off for Black Friday.

Mycar want $315 (=$236 on sale) for KL33s (in the size I use), but they are $185 atTempe ($174 via their ebay+)
