Not as good as the previous deals with the free Power Bank + SmartTag 2, but still a decent price if you need one.

PRICE CHANGE
Samsung has increased prices by $200 on both education and retail stores. Originally $1499

  • Ask Samsung Chat for a 10% Loyalty Code

  • Trade‑in example: I traded in an iPhone 11 = $135 value

  • $500 Trade‑In Bonus applied

  • Final price paid: $777.60, based on the original discount

Note

YMMV: Some users reported success asking for a $100 Trade‑In Voucher as well.

There’s also an option to grab the Tab A9+ 5G (64GB) for $100 with this deal, but I skipped it., Seems like they got rid of this from both the edu and retail stores

Long‑time lurker, first post, let me know if I’ve missed anything!

Imagine making your hate for a particular brand a personality trait lmao

  • I cbf with samsung anymore after their last fiasco.

    • I missed it - what happened?

      • -1

Did not honor previous promotion on the Tab S Ultra

      • +6

They doubleed the trade in bonus and people (including myself) was able to order a tablet for nothing. I paid $54 for a galaxy tab s10 ultra. Of course it was not honoured.

        • +1

Same. I placed an order but expect to get a cancellation for s10 ultra at 500 bucks (I already had for 1000 - would have given to my parents if I got it).

    • good riddance

    • So, you won't deal with a company because you expect them to honour what was an clearly an error?

      • -8

I rather deal with companies who aren't stupid enough to commit such errors, or have the common sense to at least offer goodwill gestures when mistakes are made.
Oh, and it's Samsung not a mum & dad shop. I feel zero sympathy for large corporates.

      • -6

Affiliate marketers brigade. You new here?

        • -2

          Nope

  • Nothing better at his price, just wish the case came with a kickstand.

    • -7

      Nothing better at his price

      Unless Pepperidge Farms remembers.

  • -4

Jacked up price, and then 500 off bonus hahahaha.

  • +5

How do you get the Tab A9+ 5G (64GB) for $100?

    • +1

      Also wondering this one too

      • -2

Its an add on to a bigger purchase. And its got a dull acreen.

    • Ya i would want to buy one but cant figure out how to get it. Anyone know?

      • +1

I found it. It's part of the commbank deal. There is a banner for the A9+ for $100 as part of a family bundle. Didn't work for me with added to cart.

  • +2

I don't know why they went with a Mediatek cpu instead of Spapdragon for a flagship model and I'm now too afraid to ask.

    • Its cheaper

    • +1

Probably cheaper for them, I genuinely don't care as long as they pass on the savings, which they have lol

      • as they pass on the savings, which they have lol

        Huh? They have?

        • +1

I would say so for ~$770, yes its not going to outperform any of the current iPads, but I personally feel apple having choosing to keep the 60Hz screen on the refreshed iPad air pushed me to this.

          • -5

@Obsidian243: $770 + $149 (removing trade-in and adding fake trade in of $1) = $919 not so great compared to the Lenovo Pro Pad Dimensity 8300.

            • +6

@marshmall0w2: The Lenovo Pad Pro looks good on paper with the Dimensity 8300, but you’re ignoring the big trade-offs: no OLED (huge downgrade for media), weaker long-term support, and midrange silicon compared to the 9300+ in the Tab S10+. Samsung’s AMOLED + 120Hz combo wipes any IPS panel for HDR/contrast, plus you get S Pen, DeX, and 5 years of updates. Lenovo’s saving you a couple hundred bucks upfront, but in 2–3 years that Tab S10+ will still feel flagship, can’t say the same for the Pad Pro.

              • -5

@Obsidian243: I've used the S10 Ultra pad and I've used the Pro Pad. The "midrange silicon" remark doesn't hold much weight in reality, as the 8300 vs 9300 is mild at best.

The OLED vs IPS LCD is very very close in reality. The colour is very good on the Pro Pad and unless you're under direct sunlight, you won't notice much (IPS LCD wins under direct sunlight btw). Also Lenovo's is 144, whereas the S10U is just 120.

Software update, sure. DeX - ambivalent; Lenovo has standard desktop mode. S Pen, sure; Lenovo has the Lenovo pen as well.

                • @marshmall0w2: Both SOC's are mild compared to the iPads and other chipsets thats for sure, however looking at antutu scores, the Dimensity 9300 + is at 2094291 while the Dimensity 8300 is at 1406912, the 9300+ beats it by a massive ~49% and i personally dont feel a massive difference between 120Hz and 144Hz and IPS is in no way very close to OLED, its impossible, the contrast ratios are never comparable unless you're talking about the Apple Retina displays

                  • -2

@Obsidian243: Like I've said. I've used both pads. The Lenovo tab's colour reproduction and brightness is actually no joke compared to the Scamsung tab. I wouldn't trust antutu scores btw. I'm saying in real-world applications, 9300+ probably wouldn't blow you away when you're already on the 8300. The point about 144Hz and 120Hz is just to show that Lenovo adds more features to its screen and that it is not that inferior to Scamsung to make the latter's selling point enough to justify the price.

Furthermore, I'm not saying the Scamsung tab is a bad tab. In fact, I bought both the Scamsung Tab S10 Ultra AND the Scamsung Tab S10+ during the commbank deal and got shafted twice.

          • -4

@Obsidian243: Where did you get $770, the rrp its a lot higher and normal specials also a lot higher, just because you manage to get it discounted doesnt mean they passed on the saving.
On your aaying i got my s9 ultra for $180 new.
So they actually increased the price by a huge amount

            • +1

@michael9865: The calculation is in the post.

              • +1

@marshmall0w2: What calculations, are you dull, i am responding to a dull answer to a question.
When comparing stuff you compare it to rrp not when a deal is on.
He didn't care "as long as they pass on the savings" , which means the rrp should be cheaper than last year rrp for last model.
This is different than where a deal can be found.

You are talking about a completely different question so should read before you post

                • -1

@michael9865: No, I get what you're saying. But I'm not using RRP for the Lenovo Tab as well when talking to the other dude. RRP is always fake anyway. I myself use price deals all the time. I would put the RRP of the Scamsung S10 Ultra at its usual price of about $900. That's usually the sale price of the other S7, S8, S9 Ultra tabs. Though they've been taken down to sub-$700 pricing. My personal price target for these tabs is around ~$650

                  • @marshmall0w2: Oh, i never replied to your comment nor did i see you were replying to his with a devoce of your own.

I was having my own input seperate to your and just saying what my opinion is of the matter that when they brings out a new device with has mediatek and not snapdragon, you can't say they pass on savings without looking at the rrp of the previous 2 generations of the same model to see what their rrp was and to see if they did actually pass on the savings.

So in this unique case rrp should be looked at to see if Samsung did the pass on the saving, not the cheapest deal you can find because like isa di if we are just comparing the cheapest then i got the S9 untra new for $180 which meant they did not pas on the savings. The example i gave does not make sense as it is based on the best deal i found whicb is what he did and compared it to the deal he found where to actually see if the savings were passed on to consumers the RRP should be compared to the past generations and new one.

I hope you understand what i am saying

    S11 ultra on the way

  • +1

    If it's not $450, it's not a deal now 😆

  • +2

Been using mine for over a month now, display is massive and sometimes an overkill, but overall couldn't be happier. Got it on the first deal for ~900 with the keyboard combo. 1350 is a bit too high imo, 1k is more reasonable so if you can just wait

Edit: just noticed it is with 500 trade in bonus, def get it now, worth it ;D

  • Samsung cancelled the last one, ended up with the pad pro from AliExpress for 200 bucks. Absolute bargain and runs buttery smooth.

    • @mikuno do you remember any list to the past listing you bought from?

  • Got mine from the last deal and it's been amazing but unfortunately the keyboard case has left some deep scratches on the bezel - apparently it's a known issue.

I had previously decided against a screen protector due to how good the built in anti reflective coating is.

  • +1

Just a heads up. This tablet is massive. Recommend going to a Samsung store to view before purchasing.

    • Yep, the s10 plus already feels quite large, the Ultra is a behemoth!

  • +3

I have got the Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2025 version and it has most funcitonaltiy of the S10 but after using the S10 Ultra, i just can't go back.
Specially using Artemis and apollo, I have got my high end desktop working on this tablet remotely . Absolutely excellent gaming performance with it
and it fells like a proper windows laptop at home.
Cant bother with winlator and emulation.

  • Good deal - I pre-ordered my Tab S9 back when it first came out and have zero regrets. I don't think anything (not even iPad) beats the polish of One UI + flagship-grade hardware on every aspect on these S series tablets. It's just too good lol.

Oh yeah, make sure to order a $5 tempered glass off eBay to slap on just to be on the safer side :)

  • If I trade on an iPhone 8 Plus and it is locked due to not knowing the Apple ID password. What happens? Do we get it back and pay a non delivery fee or something? It is worth it for the $500 off

  • I Grab it for $777 + trade in an old Samsung per $135,extra plus 10% discount in the chat

I cant find the extra A5 in bundle.

But just the S10 Ultra is good deal

    • I think they got rid of it, I had a look after as well and couldn't find it

  • Can you get and use the 10% discount and $100 loyalty code together?

  • +2

I already have one of these and its a amazing device. its fast and powerful and the screen is amazing, and the free keyboard helps. Yes would have preferred a studier keyboard like the ipad magic keyboards for free :-) but then you can't have everything.

    • looking forward to receiving mine ngl, lots of positive reviews on it except the salty ppl that had theirs cancelled because of the double trade in bonus pricing error lol

      • Even I had a go at it and had the order cancelled. But i don't hold Samsung responsible at all for cancelling the orders due to a pricing error

        • edit: Some salty people, I had a go at their $750 OLED 55' fiasco as well, I do have to admit, they do make a lot of "Pricing Errors", which is interesting

  • No longer working? Tried it just now, and it's not adding the $500 trade-in bonus? Expired? Supposed to be 14 Aug, maybe they wrongly coded as 4 Aug

    • Maybe, take a screenshot of the page where it says ends on 14th Aug and send it to the chat if you really want it

      • They're useless tbh. Tried it just for fun, as usual, the response was just, please contact [email protected] so they can provide better explanation

  • 10% voucher is also available on Samsung members app. The voucher for watch series also works on tabs. Just FYI

    • Which vouchers btw? I assume CRX/ERX for the 10% (they both work but not stackable). Which one was the watch? That EBx everyone was looking? With the $500 trade-in bonus stopped working though, it's no longer good deal

  • Yes the 500$ voucher should work. It is not working at the moment. It is the CRX code. I got it for 898 with 1$ tradein that I am not planning to send back.

    • So with the trade in. Do you pay $60 non return fee? And the $898 includes that $60?

      • I chose $1 tradein item. Hopefully it will be 30$ non return fee instead of 60$. So, I am expecting to pay 928$ in total instead of 958$. The fee will come after 14 days of item being delivered. The item is just shipped.

    • Knowing Samsung, there's next to no chance they'll fix it. This deal is over for now I guess. I actually email support too, and their response was: change your browser, clear the cache, change your device, etc (basically they don't even want to try/admit that it's not working, it's our fault)

      • Fair enough. The EPP website also has 400$ tradein removed. EPP also has an option of 100$ for Tab A9+ 5G for 100$ but that is also not working.

        • +1

That A9+ was never working since this post started (both on regular or EPP), I think that was old campaign they forgot to remove the text. Nobody could get that

        • I stand corrected. They fixed the bonus issue, worked for both EPP & regular store. Not sure if it’s because of the report or they found it themselves. Put my order just fine

  • Is there the possibility of cash back on this offer?

    • If it’s the regular store (this offer) and on desktop, it might work

  • Is this still working for anyone? the price seem to have jumped up to $1190 even after the trade in bonus

    • Just checked, they increased the price by $200 (they increased EPP by $200 too)
