Has Anyone Made a Claim with Medibank after Placing an Order at Clearly

I'm planning to buy a pair of glasses and came across Clearly.

Their quote is much more reasonable compared to what I received from Specsavers. However, I'm concerned about making a claim with Medibank since Clearly is a non-member choice provider. I spoke with Medibank customer service and was told that there’s a chance I might not be able to claim the expense.

Has anyone successfully made a claim with Medibank after ordering from Clearly?

    Have you tried contacting clearly? They have a whole page on health funds and should be able to guide you through.

      Not really, according to the information on the website, "Depending on which health fund you are with how much you can claim can vary depending on your level of cover, waiting periods, and prior claims. Speak with your health fund provider to find out more.​".
      I also read some previous comments. It seems Medibank doesn't support online stores if the script is high.

    It looks like you can only claim for Contact Lens.

  • I have used clearly afew times and made claim with both AHM and Medibank. They have no gap cover for opticals so you should get 100% money back up to your limit.
