    RRP is misleading.

    • yup, they're usually like $20-$25 each??

I would avoid the toothbrushes with NiMH or NiCd rechargeable batteries, and stump up for one with a lithium battery. Will last much longer (ours are 5 years + and still going strong - our NiMh died after 2-3).

Any good lithium suggestions for under $30 since this is only $13.50 each?

      • Nothing wrong with the deal itself but I share the same sentiment after having used this model. If you can wait or can stretch your budget, lithium is the way to go. Longer battery life and stronger oscillation.
Basically just keep your expectations in check when you get this model and don't compare to the lithium powered ones.

This would be the cheapest Sonicare, we had two but the button worn out after 2 years and causing problems to start/stop lol

        • Didn't last much longer 😂

        • Philips sonicare technology is inferior to Oralb's technology.
Used both and oralb gives a better clean.

          • @Wiser: I second that.
Sonicare actually cleans a lot better than the Oral-B 7000 we had, YMMV.
In saying that, even the basic Oral-B brushes does a much better job than manual brushing.
I asked a few dentists but none had any preference.

          • @Wiser: Really dont like much oralb. I found it to rough on my teeth and gum. At the end sonicare whatever diamond gave me much better outcome.

    • To be fair, the build quality of these aren't great. The rubber grip will be manky long before the battery dies.

Should probably get one with a pressure cut off on it.
