I've got a 6 year old A129 dual that has stopped working (not sure if just the front cam or both). Can I buy this and just swap out the unit and use the same wires that are already in place? If rear camera of A129 works, can it be plugged into the A119?
I am having the same problem as you. To my knowledge you'll need to buy A129 Pro which the rear camera can be plugged into.
Mine dies as well.. I ended up buying a new A129 and for some reason, the old cable doesn't work with the new cameras… I replaced both cameras which have the same plug, but the rear camera would'nt be detected.. I tested it with the cable that came with the new camera and it worked.. i cannot figure out why the old cable wouldn't work. I'm too lazy to route the new cable

Yea I'm looking for the same thing. I'd love to use it just to record drives too so it should be decent quality. I've looked at footage from any of the Viofos and they all look excellent though

The newer Viofo A119 mini 2 version was only $96 a couple of days ago. This is not a terrible deal but the Mini 2 deal was way better.
