I have found all the German made ones have transitioned over to Chinese made in recent months. I can't find any German made Oral B toothpastes in my local Coles or Woolies anymore.
I bought this on half price $5 this week and it said Made in Germany.

Anyone know if these actually work?
As far as I know, some sort of hydrogen peroxide is needed for whitening, and none of these have that in their ingredient list.
Not necessarily.
You can have mild abrasives which will make teeth white also.
Carbamide peroxide is king of course and 18% will give you amazing results. Check amazon.
35% is what dentists use.
What are the chances burning gums with that
18% moderate
35% very high. You might only need a fewminutes of LEd light therapy with that to activate the carbamide.
carbamide is better than hydrogen peroxide though.
IF you mix 6% hydrogen peroxide with super glue. you can put a layer of that on your teeth for a few hours and then brush off. Might get good results. :)
There is a pen (red color forget the brand) that will do that for you. It's got 3% I think. I got reasonable results with that.
If you are worried about burning and good results, go to dentist.
Oral-B or Colgate?
Contains titanium dioxide… yikes!
I find the Made in China variants really burn my gum whereas the Made in Germany range are more gentle. I've compared ingredients for the same product as its transitioned form Germany to China and the chinese variants seem to have A LOT more ingredients in them.
I am more worried about ingredients not mentioned on the tin.
China is highly polluted due to the simple fact that it manufactures most of the worlds stuff.
I dont wanna put made in china stuff like toothpaste in to my mouth and eat made/grown in china food like frozen Spinach etc either.
yeah same. The toothpastes have high micro plastics also.
Forget all those plastic containers we use and 'paper' coffee cups made in China. Massive contaminants of plastics as well as potentially other things like heavy metals.
Made in China?
Some varieties are still Made in Germany which I buy after checking in supermarket.
