    • Where are you seeing this? Cheapest I can see is $52 each

      • My bad. Thought the discount was further applied.

I like how businesses come up with reasons to do a sale.. umm "Mid-winter", "Karl stubbed his toe on excess stock sale" "cant think of a reason to have a sale but having one anyway".

Arent we like two thirds through winter?

    • Are you sure you're an Ozbargainer?

      • Hey I never pay full price and enjoy the sale as much as the next person. I am just amused at the reasons they give to explain why they are having a sale. Gone are the days of the rare sales throughout the year (EOFY, Boxing day etc). Now they crop up frequently and have to give a reason why.

  • The coffee capsules for this are really good, the 30% discount also stacks on top of their bulk buying discount. This if you are happy to buy 100 capsules, but they will come in at 0.56/capsule, although the shipping ruins the deal as shipping is $14.30, so maybe buy 200.
If you buy 300, then you get the free shipping and they come in at $0.56/capsule.

    • It's a bit high on $0.56/capsule… Starbucks/Nestle/Daley st/Vittoria hoover around $0.33~0.51/capsule and you don't need to buy 100s

  • I'm not much of a fan of Campos. Tend to buy coffee at $55/kg from euroespresso who have much tastier coffee.
Felt like since about 2 or 3 years ago. Campos has become worse with beans.

I rate them. Their single origins can be a blast. And I’m a massive fan of Blade Runner in milk based coffees (heretic I know).

Their packaging sucks, though. I miss the colourful stuff they had years ago. Now it’s just soulless

What about the roasted dates on these? how do we find out.

  • Has anyone tried the liquid coffee sachets? Look like they could be a good option for camping when you want to pack light.

    • Yep. I have some. Surprisingly alright. I went in with low expectations and was surprised.
They’re not gonna win awards though, but they’ll get you through a dry run without feeling guilty that you stooped too low.

  • Last time I bought online because of the sale, they sent VERY OLD roast date! pay a bit more and get fresher beans from Coolies if Campos is your thing.

  • NFI why you'd buy these when Lime Blue sell single origin & exotic varieties for about $13 less delivered, at a dispatch date of your choosing.

    • -1

I rate lime blue worse than Campos for flavour.
      So each to their own.
I would much rather spend $50 -55/kg on nice beans then resort to cheaper beans

      • -2

"Nice beans" is entirely subjective, and seems you're equating quality to price. $35.49 delivered for a kilo of organic single origin Peruvian seems like a much better deal, which is a view shared by Ozbargainers at large.

        • No that's your perception of my comment. When you have tried as many beans as I have you would know the difference between quality of beans. I have spent all the way up to $900/kg and would comfortably do that because coffee is a hobby I don't compromise on. Suffice to say I think I know my beans quite well and no matter what herd mentality of what ozbargain thinks is good coffee, it shouldn't drive other coffee business away.
So your argument of why would anyone pay $55 for coffee when you can get lime blue for less. Is a ridiculous comment. So if you are happy with them stick to it, but don't judge others spending more on a coffee they prefer.

@maverickjohn: On the wrong website if wanking off about how many more expensive beans you've had (no one cares) & how much more informed you allegedly are ('trust me bro') is important.

Verified quality + significantly lower price will always win on Ozbargain. I'm sure Campos will survive despite someone pointing out there are cheaper and, IMHO, better beans available.

            • @Captain Yobbo: Haha you are now just projecting your insecurity
I never once used that argument to drive a point, you were associating me with driving price with quality.
My response was to disprove you and now you are again attacking a different element of my response.
The only one who was using the 'trust me bro' argument was you when you claimed why anyone would by option A when option B exists.
I said and will continue to say let people choose what they want and don't discredit their purchase because you don't think it's of equal value. Your argument is flawed and remains ridiculous.

              • @maverickjohn: Seems you don't understand rhetoric if that's what you took away from the original reply, so I'll break it down: "you can buy single origin & exotic blends for $13/kilo cheaper, so I struggle to see the value in this deal".

Nothing about how much I claim to know, or have paid in the past, just "there's other sellers that offer quality beans at lower prices and those facts are endorsed by a lot of other users". It's not an unreasonable or irrational statement (I'm not arguing whatsoever), but for whatever reason you're butthurt because someone holds a contrary view about this deal.

                • @Captain Yobbo: Yes.. trying to break it down but intentionally exclude the dismissive part. And then claim it to be rhetoric.
And now calling me butthurt.. how defensive you have to be when you are wrong.

If you actually read above you would have noticed that I don't particularly like these beans, as I have found that they dropped in quality to what they were previously. But again you seem to interpret things in odd ways.

                  • @maverickjohn: Yes, massively butthurt. You initiated this exchange by replying, when all you had to do was roll your eyes & keep scrolling instead of being personally offended by a "dismissive" comment. That's entirely a you problem. Cheerio.
