These are surprisingly good, especially for this price. Good contrast (decent blacks) and vibrant colour, excellent viewing angle, weigh almost nothing, only use 2.5 watts out of the box, and can be powered off almost any USB port. Comes with all the cables you need. Tiny speakers actually reasonable if you need to use them but don't expect too much.

Good aspect ratio for older console emulation also as fairly close to 4:3, sort of in the middle of 16:9 and 4:3 so still decent for most viewing.

Don't know about longevity or bad pixels, but mine came boxed well and looks good. I paid $60ish and was more than happy.

    Must-resist-buying-a-spare.

  • Hmm.. buy 4 and create one big monitor?

  • Easy to connect to a smart phone?

    • That would depend on your smart phone not the monitor.

Look in the manual or Google if it supports USB-C to HDMI.

  • Package weight is 530g, but actually how heavy is this thing? It would be a nice secondary monitor for an ultra portable laptop to show status monitors / slack chats.

Looking at the other 10.5" monitors from brands like Anmite that are basically the same panel… 260~300g.

    • Comes with a bracket and a couple of cords so likely thats adding ~150-200g

I wish there was a usb-c display where the ports were not on the side of the monitor. If it were at the rear you can hide them and make them a bit more presentable.

Right angle USB and HDMI cables are the way to go.

      • Yeah thats what i've been doing but it still looks shit.

Look up the Uperfect Y. All the connections are built into the stand on the back that make it even more discrete. Has full HDMI and touchscreen too.

    • The 14 inch SRZ monitor I got from a previous deal on here has the ports 'hidden' on the back.

  • Thanks OP. Kept missing these, needed one for my homelab as the servers are kept hidden behind a couch next to our router (don't ask) as opposed to in the office where all the screens are located.

  • price jumps to US$37.11 when I log in, is this price for new accounts only or is there a coupon i'm missing?

    • Yes I also see US$37.11 and AU$59.72 while logged in.

    • As per the OP's post…….

that's not the issue, the price is straight up $37 usd before you even go to checkout. i suspect the deal has expired.

        • Oh yea, fair enough. Still very cheap even if it's $8 more now the deal has expired.

    • Sounds like a good price if you are looking for a 16" one. I have got two portable monitors already. Just like many of these folks, I am also looking for an ultra-portable or a dedicated "small" chat window one. So, for us, there is no a direct comparison.
