Same, I bought it for the Xbox about two years ago. Upgraded to the Series X version. Played it for a bit and got stuck in that first part where the ghost came out from the well. I wasn't strong enough to beat her. So I stopped playing.
I find it a bit frustrating when you hit something that you’re not strong enough to do as grinding doesnt level you up very efficiently. You have to go find quests of an appropriate level, do them, then go back to your other ones.

Yeah that's why I kinda gave up playing Forbidden West. I can't be bother grinding for levels up. I prefer to play it like Darksiders without having to level up gears and crafting shit. You just get new weapons once you killed the bosses.
There are level indicators for quests, showing you if you are appropriately levelled for the quest. Only take on green and grey quests and you should be able to finish the quest. That way, you don't get halfway through a quest, have to leave it, then come back and not be sure what was happening during the quest.
When you get to spend skill points. There is one on the generic stat page. It makes food items last 20mins. It's a game changer. Instead of getting 10 seconds of heal over time then forgetting to use it again cause youre busy dodging, then dying. You just keep healing. I've defeated enemies by running in circles while it heals me up again 🤣

I had this on switch and Xbox, tried several times. Just not my game.
yeah I bought it on the switch was both impressed and underwhelmed by it. impressed that it ran, wasn't happy with 30fps :D

Yes it's free upgrade for both consoles. I bought it for the Og Xbox One and got it upgraded to the Series X version.
Found this game so slow. Cutscene after cutscene, then i finally get to do something and i get killed by a wild chicken or something.

This a great game with a poor combat system.
Boring game. Very clunky. Poor mechanics. Takes ages to learn the skills/magic/crafting nonsense.
Gotta have an attention span greater than 2 mins. Give it another chance and just have fun.

How many hours a week so you spend on tictok style content? To be fair, I have my own battle and block all of the YouTube shorts to Facebook reels. It's not just the grinding, it's the quests that invoke emotion, characters that you identify with. Grinding doesn't exist in witcher 3, you just play the game and enjoy the boosts when they arrive.

This a game I wish I never bought but ws always going to based on the hype. I just can't get into it, skill issue i know but games should be fun first.

I loved it when the kids were babies, but now they require my attention, I don't like heavy games. Give me arcade like drop in and out games thanks.
Saying it was 77.95 without giving context is a little misleading . Game was released in 2015.
Its like saying a 2015 Camry was 30k(when released) but now its only 15k.
But saying that I loved the game and money well spent. Well written and good story telling.
This game has two different reviews. It's either very good or very bad.
This game is still one of the greatest games ever made. It's epic in all measures. Which is also why some people will hate it. Personally I got about half way through before finishing the story cutscenes on YouTube due to time constraints. Though the only games I ever finish are couch coop. And this games is far superior to breathe of the wild which I got bored of really fast.
