im going to BangKOK to use this CUKtech

    • Approved

    • It’s got Coucktech approval. Should work as ccc replacement in Bangkok. Just ensure there are no unnecessary plug attached to the charging port!.

How do they come up with these terrible branding names? Cucktech?

    • +1

Cuck is a word as old as time itself. Cuckoo! Cuckoo!!!

    • +3

CUKTECH was established with capital from Xiaomi and ZMI (one of Xiaomi's accessory company at the time), and later the core ZMI team joined CUKTECH.
They make products for Xiaomi, like powerbanks, cable, charge bricks and such but also release products in their own brand.
CUKTECH is certainly not one of those average random name brands on Amazon from China.

      • +2

Wait, so Xiaomi is the boyfriend and ZMI is the hotwife? So MuCh ConFusIoN

        • +1

It's more like Xiaomi is dad and CUKTECH is the reincarnation of ZMI.
As for why the rebirth that's another interesting story. Basically another company called Zimi saw ZMI products were a hit and started to freeload the brand recognition since they share the similar name, and ZMI could not do anything as Zimi was registered earlier.

        • Do they Cuckold?

      • I think you missed the point there. They put zero effort into bothering to market themselves outside of the domestic market with a name like that.

Will this charge someone else's phone and make you watch?

    • 🤣

    • +1

Only if you then consume the charge out of the phone

      • i dont get whitlam joke…

        • +1

It's okay, the government will ban it for you

    • Lmaoooo

  • Compact Yet Durable: With a 10K capacity, CUKTECH 30W power bank can charge your devices multiple times, boosting your iPhone 15 video playtime to 34 hours. And the CUKTECH power bank meets safety certifications such as UL, CE, CB, and FCC etc, which provide a better and safer charging experience.

You say its allowed on flights, yet it doesn't list CCC specifically.

Is this old stock that they can't sell in China anymore?

    • This is the international version that's why there's no CCC mark on the product. But they all passed CCC test

      • +4

If theres no CCC mark it will still be confiscated in China

        • +2

          Damn can't go China then.

    • +1

its allows on flight but not in china.

  • +2

    Do they sell CUKchair?

  • +1

fairly good price for dual 30w input/output 10k powerbank

  • So it appears I will need to buy a 3C powerbank next time I'm in China, as they don't seem to be stocked by anyone outside China?

    • i have the same question

    • Or buy a CCC sticker and put it on your current power bank

  • website is down?

    • +1

seems to be working on my site

      • +1

now it's back online. thanks mate.
