Insane price for these specs.
Kogan haters will pay twice the price for the same specs.

If you mean variable refresh rate, then yes. We haven’t needed GSYNC modules for that for quite a while now. If you mean the other features of GSYNC, then no.
VA Panel yuck
Its VA so for those reasons, I’m out.
Depends on the panel manufacturer, and how Kogan - or more accurately, the ODM that slapped Kogan's name on there for them - executed the tuning.
TCL/CSoT (Samsung's old Chinese plants) would be good, if the panel grading and overdrive tuning are good.
I imagine the ghosting on this would be insane?
Your other option to avoid ghosting is either IPS (but harder to find nowadays in ultrawide format because every other company is using curved VA panels, and the ones on the market are low refresh rate meant for office use) or OLED (you'll need to fork out at least $900 ~ $1200 for a 34" OLED ultrawide).
If you're okay with a smaller display then I'd look at the Omen 27Q 165hz 27" IPS but for whatever reason there isn't a reasonably priced 34" inch IPS alternative.
Insane price for these specs.
FYI, this is normal sale price from Kogan. I've got 2 of these, one flat, one curved. Not really that good compared to MSI, BenQ, Asus, or some other brand for $400 for a 34". It's just 1440p anyway. Plenty of options. Don't fall for this.
That is 240hz that is why. Did you get the 240hz version?
Next cheapest 34inch 240hz available is $699

A VA Panel is a deal breaker for me.
"Kogan haters will be twice the price for the same specs. " I hope the monitor is better than the grammar.
?
Would this make a good monitor for Work From Home Office applications?
What other options would you recommend??
If you're not gaming, don't bother, aim for a more reputable brand for less money… There was an MSI 100hz 1440 34 inch ultra wide for 293 that would be a cheaper and likely better option:
Thanks. That makes sense.
It says freesync compatible… is this basic or will it also support gsync?
