Hi all, I'm in the market to sign up for a new iPhone + Apple watch on a plan. A 16 pro + series 10 cellular. 20 GB data per month is more than sufficient.
I have no idea how to navigate this area of the market or to negotiate some sort of a bundle deal (if it exists) as it is all new to me (I have always bought goods outright).
Has anyone managed to strike a deal for such a bundle? If so - how did you go?
Any advice is appreciated.

They have mobile plans that give you a gift card that you can use to buy the phone
They should have a plan to share the watch and phone.
Just one more month until iPhone 17 is shown. iPhone Air maybe.

Candidly, the apparently leaked designs of iPhone 17 are bizarre to say the least..that bump at the back (if it's just cosmetic) appears to be unnecessary….let's see I guess

Do you need cellular on the watch? The phone gives it the internet access, only useful if you don’t plan bringing your phone everywhere?
I bought them both outright and just lay $22/mo for prepaid
I feel the cellular comes in handy.
I find it convenient to leave the phone behind on walks/ runs/ gyms/ activities and just have the watch for emergencies - unthehered. (Or when I forget the phone behind somewhere)
Just note that if you want cellular on the watch then you'll be locked into a plan with the big 3 players as no MVNO has esim for wearables (I assume an intentional oligopoly).
Tangerine is the only mnvo that does shared numbers to add to a watch. Not even that expensive - monthly plan cost (starting from $23) plus $10. I’m hoping to move once my current annual plan runs out.
This is only if you already own both the phone and the watch.

I may as well just ditch getting a iPhone/ watch plan and buy them outright + get this plan. Seems to workout cheaper in the long run I think.

(joke is apple never does stuff like this, and yes they have a tight leash on what other retail stores can do too, best they will offer is free airpods or apple pencil or $XX Giftcard)
the most unusual for apple and relevant deal I can remember being posted on ozb was, sign up to health insurance, get free Apple watch SE. to me didn't sound worth it.
