During the Tera Raid Battle event that ran from Wednesday, 23 July 2025, at 00:00 UTC to Sunday, 3 August 2025, at 23:59 UTC, the final total of player victories against Shiny Wo-Chien collectively reached one million!

Total Victories: 6,078,885

To celebrate this achievement, Shiny Wo-Chien will be available to claim via Mystery Gift during its distribution period.

For every one hundred thousand player victories collectively exceeding one million against this Pokémon, a set of 40 Tera Shards—each containing 10 Grass Tera Shards, 10 Ice Tera Shards, 10 Ground Tera Shards, and 10 Fire Tera Shards—will also be distributed (up to a maximum of 10 sets total).

Congratulations to all the Trainers around the world who worked together to defeat this Ruinous Pokémon and welcome it as an ally!

    How to Claim a Mystery Gift in Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet

    1. Launch your Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game.

    2. Select Poké Portal on the X menu.

    3. Select Mystery Gift, then select Get via Internet to connect to the internet.

    4. Choose the gift you want to receive.

    5. Watch as the gift arrives in your game.

    6. Be sure to save your game.

    The problem with Wo-Chien is that it's very difficult to use synergistically with other Pokemons for online battles or tournaments. It is tanky but doesn't have moves that redirect attacks to it like Follow Me. That's why you don't see many players use it at the World Championships.
