Yeah, I swear Amazon is getting worse
Over time more and more won't ship to my location, just feels random and frustrating

      • +8

Random indeed. I can have supreme cheese Doritos delivered, but nacho cheese can't be sent to my address 🥴

    • Is there an explanation for this? My home address abruptly can’t have anything delivered at all anymore (had many packages delivered prior), then service to the nearby parcel locker or alternative addresses is getting spottier and spottier. Is this just general enshittification or something else?

Someone mentioned that a different courier has started making deliveries which might not service the area, but unsure.

I've reached out the support many times asking for answers, and they're forever escalating to the nether

        • Sounds like a shitty courier.

        • I annoyed Amazon for months and received several gift cards from them, but I eventually grew tired of it and stopped.

im guessing not enough demand in your area. waste of time and money to make a trip out there for 1 person buying a $4 bottle.

  • Who are they matching? Prefer to go there

  • Impressed little NZ still makes things and at a decent price

I used the 1l version of this - It was good - impossible to leak & easy to close/carry etc. However it's soft plastic - not too much softer than a thick walled disposable bottle - so it means it gets scratched up and dirty looking pretty quickly. Also means that cleaning it is much harder, cos any brush/salt,abrasive etc is gonna scuff up the inside surface and probably shed thousands of microplastics. Not that too many of you would care given the price, but I've since switched to hard wall one - feels a bit more durable & easy (safe!) to clean.

    • What did you switch to?

  • These are pretty watertight - I have one I use for travelling with distilled water for my CPAP - I do still put it in a ziplock bag in my luggage Just In Case but with the lid screwed on tight it's never leaked.

  • They’re not bad, very good value. They don’t fit in cup holders most of the time, so wouldn’t recommend for the car unless you’ve got a big bottle holder in the door.

Ordered 4 for the kids, they keep losing them or leaving them at school. The cupboards are bare whenever they actually need a bottle to go to sports etc, so thanks OP.
4 more for them misplace I guess!
