To test the discount, I used a couple of the more exy subs and got a combo to go from $43 to $25, about a ~40% saving can be had here

Paid $18 sub only the other day. Theyre smaller than they use to be.

Now a days half sub cost $8.5 which used to be $4.95 just before COVID… !

That's increase of 717% or 14% per annum…! Way beyond inflation but still small business struggling… !

    • Because they have other constant costs and expenses that go up as well.
And because line must always go up.

    • I don't know which sub you're talking about but standard for the cheapest 6 inch is $6. Stores can set their own prices though so you might just be looking at that

I am talking about six inch sub sold on planet earth within city called Sydney!! You might be referring to mars or Venus :)

Electricity costs would probably be a big one with those ovens going constantly. Power prices are only going to go up with all the green energy and net zero targets.

  • Finally have an excuse to start eating out at Subway for the whole month!

Now I get a the $4 whopper or cheese burger and chicken burger for $5 from Hungry Jacks on the spin and win or whatever vouchers going.

  • ive used the 2 for 1 half a sub on Doordash as it simply a Sub for $8-13 depending on which one you get

    • Is that offer on going?

      • i think so , did it again this morning, been atleast 2 months + in WA where i am for about 5 different Subs/ half footlongs

        • Is it store specific or targeted to your doordash account? So you are saying you can get 2 6 inches for $8 everyday which is good value

I used to enjoy a subway lunch while working. Haven’t been for a couple of years. Just too pricey now. Even with this ‘discount’.

Is week 2 a deal, since when did subs cost $12…well apparently $12 is a deal so normal cost would be above $15 per sub if this is considered a deal

Just sharing my experience- their food quality has degraded and prices went up like crazy; after about 2 years gap, I visited their store in Hampton Park (VIC) and was surprised their pizza sub was all dried up and bland. Partner ordered veggie delite with avo, only to find that avo was missing and bread smelled funny.

Fun to go through my subcard logs and see my usual sub was $12 in 2021. It's $16 now. Too much for Subway IMO

    Thanks OP

  • You will need both to fill you up.

  • 60th anniversary and the deals are similar to or worse than the everyday deal at my local Subway - 2 footlongs for $22 (was $20 before)

  • 2 foot longs for $25 aint even a deal. and the drinks worth $2-3 max…

  • Not working for me. Still showing full $36 price.

    • Does the offer say 'Not Applied' in cart?

      • Na. I don't see anything related to offer. Which screen do you even see offer applied? I was expecting cost will reduce by itself as you go to payment screen.

        • Assuming you got the offer in offers tab when you select your store. Then once you add offer to cart you won't see it until you add all required eligible items to fulfill offer

  • Also not working for me

    • What's the issue?

    • It may be that store is not involved in the promo. I simulated two stores close to me and one store accepts the offer and the other did not

  • Stopped eating subway years ago. Such poor value

  • Tried 5 locations cant see this deal in the app…

    • Can you share those locations for me to test or try 24 Market Street, Shop 2, Sydney NSW 2000 and let me know

  • is it singular use
    or multiple times?
