    To test the discount, I used a couple of the more exy subs and got a combo to go from $43 to $25, about a ~40% saving can be had here

    That's increase of 717% or 14% per annum…! Way beyond inflation but still small business struggling… !

      I don't know which sub you're talking about but standard for the cheapest 6 inch is $6. Stores can set their own prices though so you might just be looking at that

          No that's nationwide for Pizza melt, Seafood, Veggie and Turkey 6 inches and wraps. I'd say more than half of the stores have that pricing

              @Minimalism: Wrap has more space for toppings but you lose out of the bread and overall size may be lesser. If you're in Melbourne I know a couple of stores that have price error Large wraps (Footlong equivalent) for around $8

    Subway with a voucher for buy one and a drink get one free used to be my go to lunch ($7 meatball is now $14)
    Now I get a the $4 whopper or cheese burger and chicken burger for $5 from Hungry Jacks on the spin and win or whatever vouchers going.

            @Big-Deal: no idea in what stores, but yes, 2 for 1 6 inches. Pizza melt is like 7.90x2 and others are around 10x2 so i usually get 2 Footlongs for 20ish. whats better, is that the order is seen as full price on their end so after 3 orders i then get a $10 discount for subway

                @Big-Deal: i believe its only the store near me in South Fremantle. I just changed my address to Perth CBD and that nearest store didnt have the 2 for 1 deals. (some other shops might do it, but i aint changing my address all day to find out!)

    I used to enjoy a subway lunch while working. Haven’t been for a couple of years. Just too pricey now. Even with this ‘discount’.

    Is week 2 a deal, since when did subs cost $12…well apparently $12 is a deal so normal cost would be above $15 per sub if this is considered a deal

    Just sharing my experience- their food quality has degraded and prices went up like crazy; after about 2 years gap, I visited their store in Hampton Park (VIC) and was surprised their pizza sub was all dried up and bland. Partner ordered veggie delite with avo, only to find that avo was missing and bread smelled funny.

      I sent them a message and they replied that I didn't have email notifications on. No explanation on why it didn't show up in offers or why I was excluded when push notifications were on. A request for further clarification and how to get the deal as not been responded to yet.

          I had mine off = didn't receive offer
          Turned on = still no offer

          It would seem that the offer was tied to their mailing list (one time event)

          Such a stupid way to run a promotion.
