I got Samsung watch 7 LTE for kids. Is there any way we can set up as an independent number for the watch. All the providers are saying i do need mobile plan and then add on plan.
I am currently with prepaid Telstra and don't want to swith to post paid.
Any ideas suggestion please.
Your phone is also with everyday mobile ?
It will only work in conjunction with a phone plan.
Found a way we can use prepaid sim.
@harryjas: I dont think you can do it without porting to another provider. I just had this discussion at the Telstra store last week.
If you NEVER want to link your primary number to the watch then I reckon you can just try a regular esim to see if it works.
No, my phone is with ALDIMOBILE and the 2 patch up together OK.

Yes and it worked, there are YouTube videos as well.
I bought lebara esim online and you will get qr code straight away in email for sim. Activate the service but you DO not need to scan the QR code until later stage.
As per link above follow the steps, if you lost in any step just google about it and watch videos.

This is very confusing..i have used my google account to set up watch for child. It transferred all my contacts. Now i have created another account for child but contacts are still there. Realised its picking up accounts from samsung account.any way around it ?
Maybe you can try to use other brand android phone to install samsung wearable app to connect galaxy watch to see if it can work around samsung account
