What a business to earn money instead of serving community who are struggling every day from those kind of diseases.

You’re welcome to buy a bunch of them and donate them to people in need

Do you even understand what I mean?

@Avi0001: No, your sentence makes no sense.

@havabeer: Because you can't understand that what is essential for patients. Instead of making something to make money they must work to build something so that they can use it on daily basis without spending too much.

              • @Avi0001: Do you actually understand the item described in this post? This is just another media device which we all have and most of which have the exact same abilities (Heart Rate/Oxygen Monitor/Blood Pressure etc) so what are you pontificating about?

Sounds like the definition of a business.

    Not a deal.
If you continue you need to pony up for the ongoing subscription. And the device and gear is useless without the subscription.

  • What is all the hype about those devices? No screen and expensive yearly membership. Genuine question.

    • +1

Continuous HR monitoring and stats, you don't even own the device.
And top athletes use it as per Whoop and that's where they spend most of the money aka advertising.

      • There are plenty of other trackers that do continuous heart monitoring at a much cheaper price, not sure about accuracy but worst case scenario, you get the ones that sit on your chest near your hear.

I was with Whoop for over an year, and ended up cancelling the sub - you can pretty much get same stats from Apple Watch and using custom apps (paid) which are like one third or less. Secondly, the company is scam, when selling band 4.0 they always told that upgrades are free, but when 5.0 was out, they updated site and asked everyone to pay for new band upgrade.

In the end, you don't even the device and they can change T&C anytime they want, so good luck with false promises.
    Happy to answer any questions.

Which custom paid apps out of interest?

      • Both Bevel and Athlytic

You can try both free and see which you prefer before posting to unlock more features

    Are trial offers deals?

  • I think the fact they’ve got heaps of pre-owned devices to hand out should speak for itself?

  • It lacks built-in GPS and reliance on external chargers to be drawbacks, particularly for the price. Additionally, there are concerns about the accuracy of heart rate tracking during workouts and the device's overall durability.

  • not a deal

  • And it's used:

Start commitment free with Peak for one month with an expertly inspected, pre-owned 5.0 device.

  • Just buy the Amazfit Helio Strap ( https://www.amazon.com.au/Helio-Activity-Strength-Training-S… )

I picked one up a month ago and really happy with it. Offers things I wanted and particular like the no screen so I can wear my watches on the other wrist.

I had Whoop for 12 months ( which I got free sub for a year through work) and cannot justify the subscription cost so did not renew.

  • Crazy how they already have enough pre-owned devices to do these trials and the 5.0 has only been out about 2 months. The returns rate must be sky high

    Don't support skummy subscription dealers.
