  • I don't like those creases around collar area

Patagonia clothing is made for purposes other than just style. Go buy a polyester jacket from Rivers without a creased collar.

That material is R1 fabric which provides a significant chunk of the functionality and breathability of this jacket. I agree it's definitely not the most aesthetic, but the material majorly enhances the breathability of an otherwise stuffy material quite and makes it great for layering.

100% a function over form piece of clothing that is oriented towards aerobic activity in the cold/wet. I have a regular r1 fleece that permanently lives under a torrentshell rain jacket, and that is pretty much my daily driver for most of winter/rainy activity, hiking, travelling etc. I am yet to try a better performing fleece.

If you want smart casual patagonia stuff that is more office appropriate for example, buy the better sweater instead (recommend grabbing one from the iconic when there's cashback deals on).

  • Bought XL thanks OP hopefully it fits me

    • What does that mean?

  • good jacket
