Looks like Bunnings is matching Aldi's price, down from $264. These do look a bit cheaply made but still a good price selling by Bunnings

What about ACCC ?
Should be 2+ years.
Not always I believe. It's for some items only
But if it's within reasonable time after you can still exercise this
https://www.accc.gov.au/media-release/broken-but-out-of-warr…@life is suffering: 12 months for a lawnmower which you only use 6 months of the year… not quite reasonable
More landfill…
no, this model is fine, I have been using it for 2 year with zero maintenance and never had a problem with it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjA5DXWisVg
gets a reasonable rating.
Personally if you dont need the grunt a dual 18v battery mower in this price range is sufficient.
Been borrowing a mate's electric little one for a few months waiting on a deal since the last Aldi one blew up. Again.
Ideally this one makes it longer than the first use. (No shit, one of their mowers deadset blew (profanity) smoke on the first use)
If it dies within a year at least Bunnings are good with returns. Aldi made me jump through so many hoops it was nuts.
Cheers OP!
These little guys are actually decent if you're not mowing thick wet buffalo.
So no pubes then ?
What you're after is an exorcist
16 inches is pretty small (that's what she said), if you have bigger yard get something bigger.
Have this- and it is great- works mostly first start and have it for 2-3 years now and going strong and the engine i think is a briggs stratton-?not sure thouhg
Don't let it Cheetahhhh your Mahhhhny!!!
Super newbie on law mowing. Should I get a bigger on for 500m2 (some thick grass)? 🤜💥🤛
Yeah. It will struggle on thicc green
Yes, this will be terrible
Prepare to spend at least $500 on a petrol one unless heavy discounted. or You can just have a huge jungle. 500m is big.
127cc is rubbish. I have 200cc and still think i need one with more juice
and still think i need one with more juice
Just get a Honda…
How's the VTEC?
Jesus… do yourself a favour and grab an old second hand victa 2 stroke from marketplace for $50. It's what I did and I've got an easy to maintain super reliable mower that'll cut whatever I put in front of it.
While this is technically a deal, I can't think of a worse machine to buy.
That handle stresses me out
Supercheap!
Got one of these a year back after going through 2-3 “refurbished” ones off Marketplace. Been very happy with it, but my use case is pretty unusual as I only use where my ride-on mower can’t reach (yay acreage).
I go to bunnings quite a bit. Often see someone in the returns line with a cheetah product… Maybe good if you need something cheap, but not sure about longevity.
Can vouch for this mower, the outlaws have had theirs for a few years now.
It has never had an oil change and has run all sorts of fuel and it's still running.
The frame and deck are quite flimsy and it's s quite gutless so don't be expecting it to be cutting the thick stuff but for general maintenance type stuff it'll do the job just fine.If a gutless 2-stroke gets the job done - why not just get an electric?
Bunnings Scam? Yard King V Cheetah Lawn Mowers $105 What's The Difference Challenge
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKVOULMB7iEMy 18" Lawn Mower (Yard Force YF1802) Connecting Height Adjustment Link Bolt with the clip / pin fell off and I can not find it in Bunnings.
image without the bolt:
https://imgur.com/a/XCrdTvyimage with the bolt
https://imgur.com/a/59rbldIWhat is the exact size or type of these bolts and what the precise term to refer to it?
The machine has the Briggs and Stratton 300 series 125 cc engine
It's a 6mm clevis pin 20mm in length and retaining R-clip
Thank you. I should buy M6 x 20mm correct
Any hardware store sell them?
1 M6 x 20mm works out to be $10
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/355762644605?Yes that's correct.
Just maybe double check the pin diameter with a ruler but 6mm is quite a common size for these pins.
Hardwear might sell them but eBay is probably your best bet due to not needing to meet any strength rating.
Maybe try and find one that isn't stainless steel because it will outlast the mower but on a serious note, it will cause the surrounding metal to start corroding around it.@ConsumerAffairs: I got a free shipping promotion at Ali. Got 5 for half the cost of 1 in eBay.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007699023779.html?Thank you again for your assistance. Bunnings staff were unhelpful or had no clue
Don't do it to yourself. Get a Honda. Indestructible.
Does anyone know who makes the engine of the Aldi FERREX Petrol Mower 141cc $199.00
https://www.aldi.com.au/product/ferrex-petrol-mower-141cc-00…
Any remote possibility that it would have a Briggs and Stratton Engine :(
Only 12 month warranty? What about ACCC
