    $2.40 for me.

We have these, use them on our camper trailer which has been everywhere. Still going, just need an occasional squirt of silicone spray after blowing out all the crud.

These are the ones that the AU lockpicking sides recommend as beginner training locks.

My kid can rake one open in about ten seconds.

    • Thanks - I'll give this a try.

As a total beginner, I've managed to pick a Master padlock fairly easily; still working on picking a Lockwood padlock.

    • +2

Yeah, these are very easy to pick, but so are lots of brands. I have an ABUS with a bypass deep in the keyway. \

These are pretty good for practicing on, and as far as securing your stuff, you're more likely to have to worry about angle grinders than pickers.

    LPL - probably.

And they're probably still more secure than a Masterlock padlock

  • Any tips on padlocks to use on luggage and other such things that come with TSA locks? I keep seeing videos of how stuff from branded locks can be picked with a toothbrush in 15 seconds.

    • You don't need to pick locks for luggage. Simply use a ballpoint pen and stab the zipper to break it apart. Take the stuff out then zip the bag back up whilst the lock is in place. Best way to reduce this risk is to lock the zips to a handle

      • The way luggage are set up that seems pretty hard to do as well
