So just $6 less than the pro deal you posted last time? What?

  • Genuine question: how does this compare to something like the top of the line ~8X more expensive BlackVue DR970X-2CH PLUS which is also 4K?

    • +4

blackvue are incredibly overpriced for what they are

      • So which is the best value without compromising on quality?

        • +1

redtiger two/three-channel on 70% off maybe.

      • Thanks. What do you recommend? I was checking out Viofo & it seems some of their models such as the A229 PRO 2CH use the same sensor (Sony STARVIS 2) & are much cheaper. The downsides of such Viofo models though are 1) lots of reviews seems to complain about units overheating & prematurely dying and 2) they come with a gigantic screen which seems completely unnecessary for a dashcam that you shouldn't need to interact with most of the time.

        • I had the viofo 229 plus in my previous car and it was flawless. image quality was really good too.

So the rear camera is included?

    • @CALMJOKES is the rear camera included, as shown in the thumbnail?

      • Yep – along with the rear camera, you’ll get a 64GB microSD card and the manual. Full details here: User Manual

  • Any deals on the D700 ?

    • Sorry, no D700 deal at the moment.

For the really serious types…If it ain't Starvis 2 sensor, don't bother.

For everyone else this seems adequate.
