Cheap for some really long games for sure. I generally like visual novels. This one I really wanted to like but found the dialogue really silly (I think it’s meant to be funny), and characters was just repeating mind numbing stuff over and over. YMMV.
Maybe check out a case on youtube to see if it’s your jam first.

Yeah I was about to jump on this, having played these games ages ago on the DS but from a quick search it seems the DS one (not the 3DS, that's the same as the PC version) is still generally considered the best version by long-time fans. I personally prefer the original pixelated graphics so I think I'll just replay these on my DS when I'm in the mood.

I've just recently finished the trilogy on my DSi XL, and this is now one of my favourite games of all time.
Never thought that I would enjoy a visual novel that much.
