Panasonic Wet/Dry Cordless Electric Body Groomer/Hair Trimmer with 2 Comb Attachments, Multi-Directional Shaving in Sensitive Areas, Black (ER-GK80-S541).

Good price IMO. Shaver Shop has it at same price right now. JB HI FI has it for $179.

Lots of positive reviews around. IPX7 so it's waterproof and can be used in shower. Ideal for sensitive areas. I like it because of the angled shaving head meaning it's easier to hold and control than a normal trimmer. Also V-shaped head means you can get into concave areas like your butt. • How's it compare to the Phillips Bodygroom?

Having a look now I can see the Body groom 7000 doesn't require oiling whereas this does.

Panasonic states to replace blades every 2 years.

Bodygroom 7000 foil head looks good as it has the trimmers either end as well as the foil part.

Best thing about the Panasonic is probably the shape for hard to reach areas

I did purchase this Panasonic but after looking at the bodygroom 7000 I might return and wait for a better deal

    • Quick Google says: "The Panasonic ER-GK80-S541 body groomer's blade should ideally be replaced every 2 years or when it becomes dull, according to Panasonic. While the shaver itself is covered by Panasonic's 2-year warranty, the blades are designed for longevity but may require replacement sooner depending on usage and maintenance. Regular cleaning and lubrication can help extend the blade's lifespan, according to Shaver Shop".

You would probably spend the same on razor blades in 2 years.

      • Saw that one as well, it's label is ER9500. Panasonic site shows WER9500 is replacement head. W stands for waterproof maybe?

  • Quite the graphic youtube demo lol
