Hmm must be the eBay season rn. Still a wild price for seconds but current gen

Its only been on sale for just 3 months, is that a worrying sign?

      • IMO yes.

      • This isn't the first post for these refubs either…

      • +1

Not really, most likely change of mind or immediate defects, neither of which are necessarily bad signs. Particularly for the hygiene element.

Don't know why people think waiting 2 years and buy them will make them more attractive in that regard. More likely to be worn and used longer.

Price is the real downfall here.

Refurbs already? Must be the head band > >

    • Already seen on reddit a few XM6's hinges have snapped, which users are pissed about, given the issues with the XM5's. Other complaints are discolouration and performance. Sony seems to be disinterested in quality.

      • So much or Japanese quality eh? Almost better get some Chi-fi lol.

Don't even want another Nintendo switch because of the terrible screen, price, and lack of decent games to play on it.

Its just japanese brand name, made in is always china

  • how does a refurb work ear infection?

Spreads better if you buy buds.

    • Doesnt work? Where can I use this?

      • When you check out, but it doesn't stack.

        • It stacked for me i got the xm4 for $189 yesterday.

  • This code can't be applied to some of your items.

  • Going to wait for for a refurb $242 ozbargain special. I'm guessing around 2 months after the xm7releases next year.

    • I don't think the xm7 releases next year

    • next year You mean 2027-28*

Sony follows a 2/3ish year cycle

  • Not bad. Bought my new XM6s off Woolworths Online for $492 two weeks ago (Retail $615 - $123 via CR cashback). Cashback came through just as I was typing this lol.

Well it's gone now but check in every few days for cashrewards 22% cashback (capped at $100), MyDeal is the seller on Woolworths Online. You can use Everyday Extra to collect 2x points (roughly $10 in credits).

  • Got these for 349 via Sony Australia just called up and said my old xm3 are dying and they gave me discount on a new pair for 349

    • Do you need to provide proof of XM3 ownership?

      • +1

Yup . But it shows how much Sony mark these up for and even at 349 there is still heaps of margin for them there . 700 for these brand new at jbhifi is a rip off

    • what did you tell them exactly? I want to see if this will work with a tax invoice for a pair of xm5s purchased in 2023

      • Should work..I just said my xm3 has some static sound and I did all the factory reset and all it didn't work could. Is there an option for upgrading to a newer model using the Sony trade in offer
