Been playing CIV 7 base game from EB games deal and enjoyed it more than CIV 6. Upgrade to deluxe (if you have the base game) and the settler's edition (if you don't have the base game as this has all DLCs including Right to Rule which is not discounted) are worth it if you enjoy the game.

Only worth about $50 IMHO
This happens with every new Civ release. People always want more of the one they've been playing for years prior. This price seems like a lot of money to spend if you're enjoying Civ6. It 100% will get cheaper, but if you're dying for something new, then grab it! Or better yet, see what all the fuss is about over at the Freeciv project

Reviews are not good because people didn't like the changes. I like the changes actually. more targets to hit each age and you cannot go beyond the age military upgrades which makes it even for all civilization
I would wait and see if the expansions rework or improve things. The price/value will also likely be better at that stage.
Unfortunately for many long time fans of the series, Civilization 7 is markedly different.
