Tbh it’s about normal for higher end trees.
These trees are a lot more expensive than the ones you find at a general store but they are also considerably better Built and the materials are much thicker and more sturdier. We have two kazoo trees at home and other than scratched sisal they look great after 2 years of the 8.5kg monster and a hyperactive Siamese going at it without holding back.
I have two cats so I am intrigued now, even though it’s something I presently consider expensive.
Will keep an eye out for the next deal/see in store :)
@swamp potato: Check Amazon. They have them on sale there but in their 5 lvl or 7 level for good prices if you are in their delivery areas.
