Karaoke machine Mic/Speaker

Can someone recommend a basic Karaoke setup with 2 wireless mics/Speaker.

I know more advanced machines have RCAs outputs but most of the cheaper ones are portable with their own mics. Either one is ok. I have an external amp/speaker to connect the Karaoke Mic.

The Fam wants a Karaoke set up with 2 mics but the source will YouTube.

So I'm thinking either setup
A- Chromecast Youtube and Music from TV speaker and Karaoke Mic / built in speaker
B- Chromecast Youtube and Music from TV into going into Karaoke Mic / built in speaker or out to existing sound bar
C- Laptop displaying picture onto TV and sound going into Karaoke Mic / built in speaker or out to existing sound bar

Any suggestions or feedback on the above set up?

Most of the cheaper options ~$300 have built in speakers. The speaker doesn't have to be great as it may only be just for the voice and not music.

And any suggestions the Karaoke Mic / built in speaker?

Got the phone number and is it free to call from Australia to Springfield?

      • Only if it’s an emergency, like if something’s wrong with the bidet

  • Previous discussion here and first comment might make for a better setup for you?

    Yamaha MG06X is excellent mixer

I use Behringer wireless dual mics ULM302MIC connected to the mixer via XLR cables
And then the mixer connected to PC speakers via RCA to 3.5mm cable

I connect the TV to soundbar via optical cable, and stream Youtube for Karaoke

I recently changed the mics to wired Shure SM58 as an upgrade.
But the Behringer mics work and sound fine too

    Mixer - $209 shipped
Mics - $228 but I feel you could go cheaper

    • Thanks, It does make sense and probably a better set up but would looks like a DJ table.

I ended up ordering the Pure Acoustics Sing Bar Bluetooth Karaoke Speaker with Wireless Microphones as a simpler small box solution.

Other benefits is that has built in speaker (I'm sure it's rubbish) and that it can remove vocals from the music input.
