Running vests are insanely expensive. I used to think running vests were only for ultra runners. But honestly, whatever you feel comfortable with that gets you out there. Go for it!
Bit gimmicky really, great for long trail runs but for a marathon… Yeah nah
You should train how you race, take your gels and plan your route with water stops if you are doing long run runs.
Most races have water every 4kms. No paths near me have water that frequently, its more like every 7kms, so these are useful when your in your marathon block doing
Just plan, unless you are running in the outback there will be water around
Negged by all the weekend parkrunners, make sure you set your alarms and get your 5km in.
Still need to justify why these are better than anything half or a third of the discounted price.
Get yourself a relatively reasonably priced trail hydration pack from Decathlon. 10/10
I normally wear a hydration pack on my long runs (over 2 hours) as there is nowhere to get water where I run, but the prices on these is hard to digest.
