Been debating whether I should go one size up from my Inateck 42L (leaning towards no at the moment) and noticed this is discounted to an ATL per Camelx3. Afaik the discount is only available for Dark Ivy Green color - unfortunately I don't really have the time to look further into this tonight.

At least they can't change the terms of the sale once the bag is in your hands š
Lmao
I was just about to submit the link for this bag.
It looks like a nicely designed 60L backpack, and the weight of the backpack is 1.6kg
It's still $139.99 on the Decathlon website !
ā https://www.decathlon.com.au/p/trekking-travel-backpack-60-lā¦can this be used for hand carry luggage ?
Nope, the I believe the upper limit is ~40L for hand carry.
Even 40 is pushing it
I use 25L and can easily put 10-12kg of stuff which is past the limit for most flights for carry on .
Of course, you can put heavy things in any bag. People are usually referring to the physical dimensions when they discuss suitable bags for carry-on.
Paired with a smaller (~20L) backpack, it looks good for a rail/road trip.

For those not familiar with Decathlon naming… The "100" in the name means that this is a more basic product, for some definition of "basic".
That doesn't mean it's not a good product, just that it will be made of lower quality materials and/or have less features than the higher numbered products (300, 500, 900) - although obviously at a lower price than those models too. Still comes with a 10 year guarantee though (presuming that's actually honoured when buying via Amazon).
Would love to see a decent 30-40L backpack for sale. I'm planning on doing the Camino trail soon. Anyone have any recs?
