RYZEN500ULTRA500

Was originally set to drop Monday but we're a bit ahead of sheadule so here's our first weekend deal post 👇

Two deals to choose from, both centered around the 5070 Ti which seems to be the most popular high end GPU (in terms of sales volume) at the moment. Margins are tight and competition is thick but we've still managed to get this one down to ~ $333 cheaper than DIY / PCPP pricing. As usual, marketing funds that make this possible are limited so get in quick if you're interested as the discount codes will expire once funding is exhausted. (roughly 80 orders max)

🥇First Deal | AMD Ryzen 5 9600X : B650M + 5070 Ti OC mATX Gaming PC link

$2288 after $500 Discount | Promo Code : RYZEN500 | $333 Cheaper than DIY / PCPP @ $2621.83

Always a crowd pleaser. The mATX / Ryzen / 5070 Ti combo. Backing a nice fast SSD and our favorite premium but not overkill B650M motherboard (the MSI Gaming Plus WiFi) it's a great little latest-gen gaming PC with a lot of drop in upgrade potential on the CPU side if needed in the future. Upgradable all the way up to a 7800X3D or 9800X3D for those who want to splash a bit more cash upfront, or downgradable to a 7500F for those two want save a few more bucks and retain the majority of the gaming performance (albeit without the iGPU).

Component Model
CPU AMD Ryzen 5 9600X 6-Core 12 Thread (Base-3.9GHz Boost-5.4GHz) (7500F / 7800X3D / 9800X3D optional *)
MB MSI B650M Gaming Plus WiFi AM5 DDR5 Motherboard w/ WiFi 6E & BT5.3 (B850M optional)
Cooler Deepcool UD551 ARGB AM4/5 CPU Cooler (others optional*)
Chassis Corsair Crystal 280X Tempered Glass mATX Black (others optional)

🥈Second Deal | Intel Ultra 5 245K : Z890 + 5070 Ti OC ATX Gaming PC link

$2545 after $500 Discount | Promo Code : ULTRA500 | $332.6 Cheaper than DIY / PCPP @ $2878.60

More targeted towards content creation or other heavily multi-threaded CPU bound applications, the unlocked 14 Core Ultra 5 245K on a nice high end Z890 motherboard. Upgradable to the 20 Core Ultra 7 265K or 24 Core Ultra 9 285K for heavy CPU workloads and even NPU accelerated tasks, and packing all the top end connectivity these higher end chipsets offer (Thunderbolt 4, PCIe5, WiFi 7, 5Gb Ethernet etc). Of course if doubles as a great gaming PC at the same time for after hours, it's just a bit more pricey overall so if you're purely looking to game, the AMD Ryzen solution above is your best bet.

Component Model
CPU Intel Core Ultra 5 245K Arrow Lake 14 Core (Base-4.2GHz Boost-5.2GHz) (265K / 285K optional)
MB MSI Z890 Gaming Plus WiFi (Gigabyte Z890 Eagle / Gaming X optional)
Cooler Deepcool AG400 ARGB Tower CPU Cooler (options optional)
Chassis XPG Invader X Black Mid Tower ATX with 5 RGB Fans (others optional)

‼️Important Note re : CPU / GPU / PSU / Cooler Upgrades

While the default options are thoroughly tested and carefully selected for balance, performance, and value, it’s important to remember that upgrading certain components may require upgrading others to maintain compatibility and prevent bottlenecks.

🔹If upgrading the AMD Ryzen build to any CPU above the 9600X, we strongly recommend upgrading the cooler to prevent thermal throttling. The UD511 is a great little low profile budget friendly cooler but 65W TDP CPUs are about it's upper limit for heavy sustained loads, particularly in warmer ambient environments. Note that larger air cooler options are limited in this build as they don't fit in the default Corsair 280X Chassis.

🔹If upgrading the GPU beyond the default 5070 Ti model, a power supply upgrade is not only recommended but required, as the Bronze model provides only 300W over the 12V-2x6 cable. The 750W Gold model is sufficient for RTX 5080 cards when paired with mid-range CPU options, delivering up to 450W over the 12V-2x6. For RTX 5080 cards combined with high-end CPU options, the 850W Gold model is recommended.

⏱️ Lead Times

We have a small batch ready to go, so for those who get in first and order the vanilla default spec without any changes, you're looking at next or maybe even same business day dispatch if you're lucky. For anyone makes changes to the default settings or orders after the first handful of pre-assembled units are gone, the build to order process will probably start with around a 5-10 business day lead time. If we get totally hammered, that might start to stretch but we'll do our best to limit it and keep everyone up to date here on this post if that is the case.

TLDR : Sooner you order, the quicker it's ready.

Just want to leave my positive feedback for Evatech for my recent purchase. Excellent communication - very prompt reply by email, happy to accomodate additional upgrade even while building halfway. Very well packed and received in WA within the timeframe given.

Only major gripe (not Evatech fault) is FedEx/TNT leaving my 4k pc outside the house despite a large signature required tag on the package. And they have the cheek to leave on the card “left at designated place as agreed upon” despite me not giving them authorisation to do so. Good thing it wasn’t stolen or raining that day. Just a feedback, but otherwise I’m extremely happy with my PC and Evatech’s service.

      Couriers 🤦

FedEx is generally pretty good (compared to others). It's pretty rare that happens but rest assured everything is fully insured if anything goes wrong.

      Thanks for letting us know!

I feel the previous 5070 ti deal from evatech offered better value than this one.

    • In terms of gap between PCPP pricing.. We've definitely been able to widen the gap a little further in the past.

In terms of behind the scenes costs and how much we're writing these down with marketing funds to get em out the door there pretty much the same. Skinnier margins / more price competition with these particular components at the moment.

I understand the fierce competition and eva is definitely my preferred pick.

But comparing to your deal from 2 weeks ago which offered
        -More storage (2tb vs 1tb)
-Better psu (MSI Gold vs bronze)
-Better case and cooler (the previous deal doesn't have the disclaimer about needing better cooling for better CPU)

While being the same price for the 9600x option at 2288. It's hard to justify this as a deal.

        • Oh yeah no doubt, that was a particularly good deal. I just mean in terms of how much we're writing down the cost at our end.

Some of that other deal had other back end funding from further up thr supply chain so it wasn't all out of our pocket.. As well as a few cheaper models of some of the components. (case / model of GPU etc)

Those kind of 'super' deals are only really possible when the stars align and in relatively small quantities. This is just the best we can do for right now until the next awesome deal rolls through.

  • Will also add Evatech were great for me last year on a 4070 super build. All decent quality components and IMO worth it for the small extra premium.
