$5 Bonus on Your First Purchase Using the ShopBack Extension (No Minimum Spend) @ Shopback

I can't find any written terms, besides their infographics explaining the offer, but there's no mention of min spend!
I have never installed it, so safe to assume this is targeted to members who have never used the extension before. (Offer was received via email)

Updates:
1. Not the typical stye SB deal, understandably a bit confusing, since it doesn't appear in 'Earn More' like their usual offers… But i've made an order via Amazon, using the extension. (dowloaded using my emails specific link) Will report back what happens tomorrow (or later), cause Mr Bezos is sloooow to track things.
2. Made an order and regular CB tracked, BUT No bonus tracked yet Lets wait and see what GYB says.
3. Only got the $5 bonus with help of GYB. It seems the offer doesn't work as reported by others, so do at your own risk & only use the link in your email if targeted.

$40 for referrer, $20 for referee after referee qualifies.

Qualifying requirements for referee: 1. Made a minimum $20 online purchase (below exclusions apply), 2. Received a minimum $10 confirmed cashback online, 3. Added banking details to account.

        If I was able to successfully join the challenge you'd think it'd show up on the Earn More/Challenges page in app, which isn't available on desktop.

          I think they've done a poor job.

          Clicking Join on the email = joining the challenge.

          The next page tells you the remaining steps are: install the addon, then buy something.

            • @CodeXD: can't see it displayed anywhere - aside from the info on the link when you click it the Join now in the email. It seems poorly done, poorly worded using join the challenge etc

      As bohn says, the link is personalised, after 'bonus' it goes ?Lid=xxxxxxxxxx

      I don't know how these links work/ affect the deal working, but if you were targeted, 100% recommend using the specific link in your email.

      Most people here are really hoping for some clarification on this offer please, & there's basically no terms.

      My 1st use of the extension hasn't trigged a $5 bonus [yet] as advertised. The standard CB has tracked though. (Nothing in Earn More, or as an Online Bonus) @Junk Sifter @Mild October @bohn @CodeXD

    I have never succeed on either the $5 off on Shopback pay nor extension.

    Purchased a $100 Village GC on 13-Aug-25. while the voucher was available immediately, it doesn't have any loaded value.
    While checking GC balance online, it returns this error "An error has occurred. Please try again!"
    Tried to use it during checkout on my last purchase, it returned different error suggesting there wasn't enough balance.
    This is my second time having this issue. Trying to contact ShopBack, but can't find any way to reach them.

    I have almost stopped using SB due to multiple issues, but when I do - It is never easy transaction. Avoid and save your time.

      • Thanks for the info, but not everyone uses OzB as you would expect. There should be easier and direct way to reach them. Even their facebook messages and website chat are not monitored.

        There is a lot to type when you lodge the issue via email.

        Before you say that the issue can be raised via their app - That was not possible either because the cashback was tracked successfully and approved within minutes, leaving no options for that.

    Didnt have any luck with this, even after getting an email about it. Shopback say they know nothing about it but could I forward the details to them.

    I logged an incorrect cashback claim.

    They gave me $5 out of goodwill, even though I did everything that was requested in the email. They said I did not activate it, even though there was no option to activate it.

      Same response, they seem to be blaming the users when clearly the offer wasn't ready!
