Seen this which ironically popped up a week after I got mine for $699, so pretty much $100 off if you are a Level IV and have Plus. Other prices are:

They have had trade in deals but the prices fluctuate. Like when I got mine at the start of August, if you were level IV WITHOUT Plus it was $752 and WITH plus it was $699 so this is about $100 cheaper.
Any games you can buy cheap for trade in? I don’t own any disc games :(

Check if they’ll do it without the games, at a penalty to the trade. When the Pro came out I upgraded and think I only did 1 title, and took a small hit to the saving for the shortfall. Don’t think it was too much of a penalty in the end, like under $100.

Just FYI, the PS5 slim disc is more expensive than last year trade-in offer.
Just to give people an idea in respect to past deals, I paid $655 for my PS5 Pro without needing to trade any games as a Level 4. Cash traded the PS5 @ EB for $324 and purchased the Pro for $979 via their eBay account here:

The pre-order deal from EB was better as EB World Plus membership was not needed for L2 and above. Also, there was no min value requirement on the 4 games for that deal.
For that deal, I bought 2 second hand games from EB for $2 each and 2 second hand games from cash converter for $1 each. $599 + $2 + $2 + $1 + $1 = $605 (Level 4).
This seems rather bizzare that a console cost over $1000. Inflation be crazy.

Didn’t the Sega Saturn launch at like $800 back in the day? Consoles seem pretty cheap on the whole when comparing with previous iterations (adjusted for inflation).
PS2 inflated for today’s prices over $1450 ($749 launch.)
Gaming one of the few areas (fuel being another) that actually well behind general inflationary increases
The title is misleading @Dlee13 - You might want to mention this price is for Level IV with Plus membership which comes at a cost.

If you're level 4 but don't have plus, it's slightly cheaper to sign-up and then do the trade in ($647 including $49 for Plus, vs $652 as a level 4 without it).
Also interesting that EB is giving about $80 more credit for an Xbox Series X rather than a PS5 disc under this same offer.

Don't hold your breath. Sony appears to have absolutely no interest in discounting the PS5 Pro.
Maybe not Sony themselves, but other stores have discounted it recently.
Probably won’t happen for a while, though.
I thought i wanted to upgrade to the pro but adding the additional disc drive and then the minimal graphical detail i would get on games like DS2 was not worth the hassle.

EG. I have a game worth $50 if i was to trade it outside of any deals.
Do they knock $50 off the console. Or it just swallowed by the deal and only worth the $10 minimum.
