How is the cushioning at the bottom of the bag? Is the whole base cushioned or just the laptop compartment?

  • First time I've come across this brand. Can anybody with experience give any reviews or opinions about it? It's cheap but is this even worth $9?

This is officework's inhouse el cheapo brand, so about as good aliexpress stuff.

    J. Burrows have the worst quality products I've ever used, wouldn't touch this crap

Cheap yes, but would you really want to carry this around on your back? Comfortable padding doesn't look to be by the photos its strong point.

  • I'm set for the next year!

Thanks OP. This is still showing available in some WA stores - click n collect.

    • eg Midland still shows as "green", not low stock like a couple of other locations

    • Just picked up the last one in Belmont this afternoon

  • Anyone know of a quality laptop backpack on sale like the Crumpler The Private Zoo 17 litre ? I got it on sale 10 years ago for $40 off Catch, and the zippers have had it. I think they have equivalents but they are $110

    • Maybe have a look into getting it repaired. I've always heard Crumpler are good around this.

You may need to be over a certain age to appreciate the effort they went to with their FAQ.

        • Haha love it - Windows 3.1, brings back memories. I was actually excited installing that operating system from 3 1/2 inch discs.

I still have nightmares after installing MS Office from about 50 or more floppies. You had to hope none of them were corrupted.

          also like the warranty text:
"doesn’t extend to normal wear and tear, including minor abrasions, scratches, fading or chainsaw inflicted damage."

      • Thanks Sonome, I will give it a go, probably drop into the Melbourne city shop and get them to take a look. It’s been a fantastic bag. I have used it every day for work for 10 years. It’s a bit grotty now, being tan in color, but otherwise still intact - apart from zipper teeth that aren’t holding together. I will be happy to pay them for it if it’s not too expensive.

  • Sold out for me but was able to buy foldable travel bag with free delivery for same price.

  • Thanks OP - grabbed one and picked up today. Quality isn't bad but its much greener in person FYI :D Good deal for $9

  • Available at Malaga (WA). 3 hanging on the shelf.
