Radio/Audio Replacement Hyundia Ix35 SE (2013)

Hi Community, currently we have a Hyundia IX35 SE 2013 Series 2 model and the Radio/Audio has been intermittent and failing over the last year or so.

I am not a car person, but I have been advised that we would need to replace the audio unit itself along with the fascia/head unit. Can anyone advise where the best place to look for such parts might be and if where I can search if I am looking at third party options. I don't really want to spend a whole lot on replacement.

Thanks all.

Stulte.

2013 is the cutover between series 1 and series 2. Which series?

Then go to aerpro.com.au and put in your car deets for all the parts you will need. Likely cheaper to buy ripoffs from AliExpress.

    • Honestly I dont know the series….didnt even know there was a series!! Will find out.

    • OK….its a series 2

  • You could try a wreckers to get a direct replacement.

  • Wreckers sell on ebay too

  • Where to buy Audio for Motor Vehicles, after OEM(of whom you should have already asked).

Any specialist Automotive Audio Store, Google Search.

Any Auto Parts store, Brick or Online, Google Search.

Any Classifieds pages, Online or Print, Google Search.

Any Auto Recyclers, Brick or online, Google Search.

Any Auto' Audio International Supply chain, Google Search.

As for best….. there is no Best of…. as not one OzBargaineer has used every option available.

Although, along with positive outcomes, there are sad stories…so ask for the negative stories, and steer clear of those suppliers.
