Is it similar to the death sauce?
FWIW, I'm a big fan of Culley's - but I like the original no. 1-10 range, and the non-numbered ones (Firewater, Brutality, etc)…this no. 1-5 range, not so much.
I wouldnt be surprised if this was a "made for supermarkets" line of sauces…
If you like these, I suggest seeking out some of their other sauces.
Just my 2c / personal preferences.
They should rename this range to Culley's luke warm sauce…
you'd get more kick eating a jalapeno compared to the so called "furious" reaper… jalapenos do not punch a kick…
Yes, I agree. The Furious Reaper whilest not super hot, is very tasty.
Culley's No 10 - Carolina Reaper is both hot and tasty. Tries this at full price hoping it would similar or at least half way there which was a massive let down since both Byron Bay Chilli Co Heavenly Habanero and ABC Extra Hot Chilli Sauce are considerably cheaper, has more flavour and hotter
Yeah, No. 10 and Brutality are my personal favourites.
No.11 (roasted carolina reaper) is also really nice, if you havent tried it. (They also do the roasted carolina reaper in a non-numbered bottle - I'm guessing that they are the same sauce, but mine taste different probably due to different age of the bottles.)
Byron Bay Chilli Co are surprisingly great, imho.
And ABC Extra Hot is a classic, which I always add to my mi goreng! Lol.

It's hot if you're new to hot sauce, mild as (profanity) if you eat a lot of hot foods
Furious Reaper Hot Sauce is very nice.
