    that is pretty amazing value

    • +1

Ditto. Tempted to buy for a mate but he'll surely be a full fat proper member again next year anyway.

    good deal!

    going towards the Naz fund

    • +6

Just 285,714 members needed to pay for him next season

      • $2mil will pay for plenty more rounds at Hotel Brighton!

  • Already lol

    "Bloody nassiah"

As a Crows fan, I am happy with Nas staying at the Saints for another 2 years. Yes, this is definitely a deal if you live in Melbourne.

    • As a Port fan, I am happy to see him come to Port Adelaide when this 2 years is up.

  • +5

Finally, looks like the Saints are getting some things right off the field! Great to see for the game. $7 memberships to commemorate their #7 signing on. I like that.

On a less serious note, when is Jack Higgins' contract up?

    • +1

Windhagers contract the next best thing!

  • +7

Don't forget to opt out after the 2026 season or it will get auto renewed at the full price.

    • +5

Good point, and be aware that you can only opt out by ringing them. This is why I use a 1-use CC for my membership

      • +1

Thanks for the tip @Dolt2020 I used a Revolut disposable card

      • They will chase you for payment and even send your debt to collector agency if you don't opt out in time

  • Slightly confused. Payed with debit card in one hit and didn't save card info, yet in invoice it says Payment Plan:25ThreeMonthly. What does this mean?

    • +6

I just checked, it says the first instalment ($7) is paid. The remaining 3-monthly or quarterly instalments are all $0 each

      • Thanks.

  • Sorry for a silly question, I am a newb to AFL.

If I purchase two adults membership but wish to bring my 4 y.o. kid to watch the games together, what is the recommended way forward?

Buy junior ticket for each game($5?) or get another adult membership?

    • +3

Probably easier to get another adult membership at $7.
Some clubs have a kids club which is free for kids to join and they get 3/4 tickets a year.
      This is saints kids club.
      https://www.saints.com.au/kidshub?hl=en-AU
There are also kids go free rounds.

    • +2

      For $7.00 buy additional memberships

Outside this deal - just look for a family ticket.
Or go on the kids get in free days.

      • Many thanks both!!

  • Next step, i wouldn’t be signing Tom De Koning for $1.8m per season over 5 years, they should use that money to try and bring in 2 or 3 other good players from other clubs

    • It's more complicated than that, it's technically 1.8mil but there's more to it. A guy did a youtube video about how it works out for us.

  • +6

Not a bad deal even if Saints aren't your team.
Might be able to see your team play Saints at Marvel depending on the draw.

  • -1

Honestly I dunno what 2 years contract would really do for saints, doesn’t look like they will be playing in a gf in 2 years.

    • The Adelaide clubs probably had nothing the Saints wanted in trade value. Gets Nassiah to free agency where he can just do whatever he wants.

    • It's something….

  • +1

someone check on scoops after today's announcement.

  • +2

I've been planning on buying a membership for 15+ years but been too skint/cheap to do so, this an unbelievable deal.

    • +1

Now you have an excuse of waiting for a better offer of $3 for 3 matches

    • +1

I've been thinking the same. I live in the NT so maybe attending a game is doubtful

  • +3

People of Vic are so lucky to watch so many AFL games

  • +1

Already a 2025 member, accidently bought one, who cares, see if they send it out to me. Was wondering if I could buy 3, probably need to under different names, and what do they do at the gate, look at me and ask why is this gentleman's name Karen?

    • I think it's all digital, through the saints app. Not sure how easy it will be to switch between users etc.

  • I'm just surprised that no one has taken a pot shot at my team yet. Ozbargainers have a little more class and less bone head comments to say than the general football public I guess.

How many times have I heard, your team is rabble and you have only 1 premiership… well it's things like Nas going that can really mess up a team, especially one that has never been motivating for players to go to. Honestly though, if you become a Saints premiership player it's as rare as hen's teeth. Players almost always go with the odds, the money and the perks though.

  • If I purchase one - can I buy multiple home game tickets? Or is it limited to 1 per membership?

    • It reads like a single membership is digital and links to the saints app, which you scan on entry, which should use 1 of your 3 home game tickets. All digital.

  • the ross lyon effect - boring to watch, sell cheap memberships
good on themn though for the initiative #7 is a gun
