    Not bad!
Just a reminder that Alienware does NOT have an option for disabling dGPU (at least for the Area51 16), unlike Asus etc. So expect one and a half hours of battery life.
    Such a bummer.

5070 8GB? The desktop version is 12GB, which is already DOA! If that's not an error then 8GB is unacceptable for most games!

    • If I was to pay more than $2800 - $3000 for a gaming laptop, I'd be expecting more than just 8GB of VRAM!

      • I picked up a refurb 4090 laptop for under 3k with last gen Intel recently and deals have ony gotten worse since then.

Unfortunately with Ngreedia, the pitiful uplift from 40x to 50x, the discontinuing of high end 40x and the high cost for anything above a 70x series its hard to find a deal at the moment for under 3k with decent specs and what it should be/has been historically.

      • 3K for a low-med gaming experience. Yea nah.

It gets worse, it has the same number of cores as 4070 mobile and is a pitiful upgrade over xx60

  • I got a think pad with i7 OLED screen and no dedicated GPU with 3 year premium support. Is this a better deal? Don't say games just looking for AI performance

    • Which deal / model is that?
