Not always the case, depends on each fragrance. Also in most cases the EdT and EdP smell quite different because you can't replicate the exact scent by concentrating it, some notes are more volatile than others.

Just for anyone that might be on the fence about getting this. I’ve been there and purchased this before because of all the hype. It’s good value, but it smells like a nightclub from 2009. Real sweet Apple / cucumber smell. Used it once and gave it away.
Mate, exactly what I was gonna say. I got sucked into the hype and bought two as a budget option - honestly, the smell’s so overrated, comes off like the cheapest perfume ever. Couldn’t stand it, no idea what the fuss is about.
