  • Crazy price. Perhaps stock is starting to catch up, but I remember it taking 8 weeks for mine to come in (paying RRP) about 6 months ago.

    • Happy to wait 8 weeks for this price

    absolutely insane price

    • +7

Perhaps unpopular question, but asking genuinely, why would someone wants to spend this much for APSC camera when full frame cameras are just as small and cheap providing a lot better image quality, bokeh, dynamic range and low light capabilities. For example, I just can't comprehend why not buy full frame A7cii with AI auto focus and amazing third party lens line up compared to this. I've used Juji XE and XT range cameras in the past and granted they have beautiful colours (which I had to muck around in post processing to get from Sony) but ultimately had to make my move to full frame purely due to image quality hit by smaller size sensor (especially dynamic range and low light capabilities). Unless for nostalgia for Fuji colours (which I can sort of understand), what other reasons people have to buy this camera? Obviously it's very popular so there has to be a big reason.

      • +9

It’s not that hard to understand man lol Most people don’t care about pixels bruh, most people cant even tell the difference. People want this camera because its small, light, looks great and produces great photos with very little post processing. Most people don’t want to learn or sit around for hours learning that part. These arent marketed to a professional photographer but can still be used for one. Its not trying to compete with a full frame, they got their medium format for that if you wanna go down that road.

Edit: been using fuji since x100s days

      • +4

First of all, it isn’t popular because of its image quality.
It’s popular because it’s easy for anyone to take good photos with pleasing colors. And that’s the main selling point of fuji cameras.
Camera nerds like us would lean toward an a7c2 however one can’t deny the fact that once in a while that fomo does kick in and before you know it you have a x100 series on the shelf lol

      • +4

it's a legit question but from a purely technical standpoint only. There's plenty of other things to love of photography other than technical specifications

      • +4

True, there are technically better cameras out there than the X100 for the price, but the target audience isn't necessarily looking for technical performance I think. I'm assuming that people are buying it because it looks good and shoots good enough photos.

For me tho - it's hard to explain. The XV100 just gives a vibe that that no other camera can give I think. In fairness, I’m not the type to pixel-peep or obsess over dynamic range or low light performance. I just like to take photos and 'feel' like I’m capturing something meaningful. The X100VI just makes me want to shoot. Specs are great, but for me, the experience matters more than the numbers.

(I own the X100VI, Nikon ZF and the Sony A7C - and I pick up the VI the most)

      • +1

Because this is the one I am willing to take on every trip. It’s simple to use, and the built-in filters are excellent. No need to worry about choosing lenses or learning photo editing—just point and shoot.

      • +4

To add to what everyone's said so far, I own an A7C2 and there's no e-mount support to recreate the size, feel, and portability of an X100 series. The closest full frame pancake is the viltrox and the autofocus constantly acts up with my camera. All the other pancake lenses relegate you to APSC anyway. Not only that, the A7C2 feels chunky and nothing like a Fuji camera.

      • +3

full frame cameras are just as small

I don't own any X100s because they aren't for me but I've owned the A7C and A7CII and you are kidding yourself if you think they are equally portable.

      • +1

I bought the Fuji X100vi on launch, waited about 4 weeks for it to arrive. I previously had a Sony A7Riii, used it mainly as a hobbyist, had it for about 3 years - and sold it to get the Fuji. I absolutely love the Fuji, its an amazing experience if you are into capturing moments and don't want to spend hours on lightroom tweaking everything.

I just wanted an easy camera that I can take with me on family outings, point and shoot and get great looking photos. Its not as sharp as the Sony, but the colours are absolutely beautiful. After seeing Fuji colours I'm never going back to Sony. I haven't opened Lightroom a single time since owning the Fuji, canceled my Adobe subscription, and get wows and compliments on the photos way more than my Sony shots.

        • Can understand that Sony system with lot of tweaking and mucking around, changing lenses etc is not for everyone. Also I can understand why an enthusiastic photos from Fuji vs Sony can have differences, ordinary people who doesn't want to muck around all the gimmicks will appreciate simple but beautiful results of Fuji. Same can be said to photos taken from latest IPhone as well. I, as someone who moved away from Canon M system to Fuji X and E systems and ultimately to Sony has different arguments to make. Yes, I absolutely adore Fuji colours, and absolutely hate Sony greenish tint (especially in cameras up to A7Riv, they have fixed this from A7iv /A7cii) even then, I appreciated the image quality a lot more (not the sharpness, I meant dynamic range, low light capabilities and bokeh). With 24 mm F1.8 lens or 35 mm F1.8 lens, I can create a lot more pleasing results compared to Fuji with F2 (which is closer to F4 in full frame terms). Either you just didn't have right lenses or you didn't get the right shots when you were with A7Riv. There is a reason why most professional photographers have full frame with many lenses, that image quality and versatility matters. And also it makes sense some other people just use iPhone or Fuji fixed lens cameras, that simplicity matters as well.

          • +3

@npnp: I actually had some sick lenses on the Sony, including the 70-200mm GM, 20mm G, 50mm 1.4 GM. One of my best friends does weddings professionally, and I often joined him as his 2nd or 3rd photographer, mostly for fun - rather than doing it for money/profession. Took thousands of photos with it, various weddings/events, in many different conditions - some perfect conditions, some challenging conditions.

The Sony vs x100vi are just completely different use cases actually. If I'm using the Sony - I'm taking my whole camera backpack, people are very aware of you taking photos, and I'm in photographer mode - and people are in a "ah there's a photographer" mode. When I take the x100vi somewhere, I just sling it over my shoulder cross-body and I can totally forget I'm even carrying it. I can shoot candid photos and people are cool and natural. I don't have to worry about having the right setup / lens - all I have to worry about is can I turn on the camera fast enough and get the shot.

I also have an iPhone 15pro and the Fuji absolutely destroys it for both photo and video, its not even a contest. I only use the iphone to shoot if I don't have the Fuji around.

Obviously though with the x100vi I'm not helping out with the weddings anymore - it's not the right gear for that. For weddings you really need a ~24mm and a fast portrait ~85 or a ~70-200

      • +1

This is the exact conclusion that I reached when researching to buy a compact camera for travel and street photography. Landed on the a7c Ii.

From what I understand the fuji cameras were a lot cheaper until it got popular due to social media so now the demand and price skyrocketed.

        • A7cii with 35 mm F2.8 zeiss lens will destroy this Fuji camera in all the aspects except 'fuji badge'.

          • @npnp: I just looked at the prices, camera ia $2700 + lens.

            • @CalmLemons: Yes but you're also getting a full frame camera with the ability to expand later if you wish.

      • I disagree with the price and think it’s ridiculous.

With that being said, colours and dials.

I’ve shot it all 35mm/APSC wise. And bang for buck (which resonates with OZB) is Sony 100%. But for ‘feel’ and fun, Fuji is it.

I’ve had x100 til the T. Now on a xpro3 and looking at xm or xe for daily. (Or a GRIIIX)

Sony is too clean. If I was still shooting professionally I’d be shooting Sony. Get paid to add character post. (Time is money)

        1 lut/profile, hit the W/B, and I’m done.

      • Probably because they haven't yet gone through the road of buying a Fuji, enjoying it for a bit, eventually finding out how annoying poor AF is, then realising this might be kind of an important factor when looking at cameras in the future, and finally choosing Sony.

      • If great image quality is enough then this camera gives you that PLUS you like the camera as an object! Not just a tool. I've heard plenty of people say they don't particularly enjoy their Sony or Panasonic ff cameras and they just simply use it as a tool that gets their professional work done and have other cameras they much prefer to use.

It's fun, easy to use, has great opticle and electronic viewfinder, has great manual controls that are very simple and intuitive to use in all modes, its small and light, it looks (profanity) cool so you actually like to play with it. It will come with you many place a full frame won't (not that a ff can't come, you just won't bring it) great lens included in price, takes genuinely great JPEGs which many people including pros appreciate when shooting leasurley.

Plenty of people dismiss the fact that a camera can be boring and just a piece of advanced tech rather than a photo making machine.

You could argue that buying a camera that doesn't have great video is a waste of money as you can get plenty of cameras that do both video and stills well so why get a camera that doesn't do video well? Well people just don't care about what others care about and would rather something that felt good than what was technically better.

What lens and body combo can you get for $2500 that gives you all the above? Not much if any.

    • -7

Insane=Yes. Possibly the most boring camera ever released. Wait till you see the boring photos and get sick of the 35mm focal length after one shoot.

      • +1

Exactly this. I've tried a 35 mm F1.8 prime with A7cii (which is roughly equivalent to 23 mm in APSC, f1.8 in full frame is equivalent to F1.2 in fuji apsc though, so this F2 Fuji can't come closer to Sony combo, especially in bokeh character and at night) yet, after a few hours I always wished I had either a wide angle lens with 16-24 mm or zoom lens with 50, 85 or beyond 100 mm reach. I just can't get myself to be locked into a one focal length camera no matter how good that is. Well, some are easy to please I guess.

        • -2

          Cool story mate.

        • Some people shoot 28mm. Some shoot 35mm. Some 50mm.

          Pick your prime poison.

        • +1

Zoom is for lazy ass people lol

Back in the days I own 10+ primes covering all focal lengths. 14mm samyang, 21 Loxia, 35 lux, 50 loxia, 85L, 135L you name them.

These days I take my camera to create memories overseas, 35mm is the go to and it's just right.

Back to the basics baby. Only experienced people who has been thru it all will understand :)

          • -1

@mg_k: Albeit noisy memories at night with mediocre F2 with APSC sensor (where deep in side you wish 'this could have been a fantastic noise free shot if I had a full frame with F1.8 prime instead')

            • @npnp: We get it, you love carting and talking about gear. Others just want to make images.

              • -3

@mickeyjuiceman: Nah, not about that at all. I personally prefer to have my memories with less noise, there's nothing wrong with that (unless of course you think 'noise level and high ISO are also part of your memory'

            • @npnp: IBIS mate, IBIS….

Unless you shoot low light sport there's simply no issue.

Stop your pixel peeping, but hey been there done that :)

Simply put times have changed, 99% people dont print nor "smell" images no more.

              • @mg_k: A7cii IBIS is 7 stops. Fuji IBIS is 6 stops. And A7cii is actually smaller and lighter. There you go.

                • +1

@npnp: Look I've owned multiple Sonys in the past from the original A7, A7II, A7RII, RX1R etc.

I've also owned Leica M, Fuji, Panasonic, Canon etc.

These days I only bother taking a dedicated camera for overseas trips. I want to enjoy photography again, taking it slow and being engaged in the process of creating image by using a hybrid OVF.

No more measurbating over specs for me, been there done that :)

                  • @mg_k: Same story with me (except not owning Leica M ever but owned 4 different Fuji bodies instead). Along the way I've had many canon and Sony cameras (probably over 50 of them if I bother to count), and never settled yet (probably never will). At the moment (temporarily) settled on A7cii with just 2x lenses (both are light enough to carry in my trips). I'll probably update further, but my absolute minimum criteria would be "full frame", "less than 500 g in weight" and "more than 7 stops IBIS". If Fuji makes this combo, I'll be buying that in a heartbeat. Until then just enjoying the best there is at current moment, A7cii.

                    • @npnp: I caught the FF bug many years ago as well….but once you can get over pixel peeping you won't care about the diff between FF vs APS-C anymore.

Also the days of spending weeks processing hundreds of photos in LR and PS after a trip are long gone for me.

I remember owning the X100S many years ago. Back then my only complaint was the lack of IBIS.

Now that this has it I firmly believe the result will be more than good enough, hopefully I'll focus on creating memories and enjoy the process all over again….:)

          • @mg_k: Not exactly. Just because something is easy doesn't make it lazy to use. No reason why you can't use a good quality zoom. Plenty of situations you don't want to carry anything else around.

  • How long the battery last on this camera? Usually there is rating like xxx photos per baterry but that doesnt take consideration when we reviewing the photos, or playing around with settings etc between taking shots.

    • depends on how you have the camera set up, i have mine set so the screen is always off and using the OVF only, the battery lasts a couple of days of full blown usage if you are turning it off and on..

if you leave it on in the mode i have set up I can get a full day out of it while taking ~100-200 photos in a day

source: just trust me bro (but proved this on a recent holiday)

      • many yeasr ago i took on average 175photos a day during my trip (and not just taking but browse/reviewing them a lot - maybe should just take and browse at hotel). thats why i wanst happy with the battery life of my olympus and sold it

      • +3

I reckon most could spring $30 for an extra battery for a $2.5k camera, without breaking the bank.

        • +3

i was away for 5 weeks and at no point did i wish i had an extra battery..

  • Should I get this or wait for a deal on a Sony a6700? Seems to be a much more versatile option with better AF, video and about the same price as this with a good lens

    • +4

How important is size to you? The a6700 is quite chunky compared to this.

A6700 is on paper better imo, probably one of the best apsc cameras around.

I was tossing up between a xt30/xt5 vs an a6700/6400 a few months ago, wanted fuji for the film simulations but after playing with both I preferred Sony for ergonomics and vastly superior af.

Was able to get a barely used a6400 with 400 shots for about $700, bought a new sigma 18-50 aswell for $580. Pretty much scored a decent kit for less than a used xt30.

Keep an eye out on Sony's ebay page, they usually have refurbs/box damaged sale items. Didn't see the a6700 go too cheap though, I think $1700 was the cheapest I've seen with stacking discounts.

      • Chunky in terms of thickness…for sure the 6700 is deeper.

        https://apotelyt.com/compare-camera/fujifilm-x100vi-vs-sony-…

But gee…not much in it really. I guess the X100 will probably go into a pocket better due to the thinner build.

Agree…I think the 6700 is probably the best APSC ILC at the moment, and a rational alternative to an X100.

    • +1

Depends on how long you are willing to wait. I got my a6700 from sony ebay as seconds for ~$1500

    • +1

The Sony is the more versatile camera on paper, as you note. Though I think $2400 is more like the price for it with a kit lens, rather than a high quality prime.

The Fuji is something you choose because you enjoy the shooting experience: optical viewfinder, emphasis on manual controls, film sims. The inherent limitations of having a fixed lens can be fun, to a certain kind of photographer. It's also more compact than the Sony with most lenses, and the retro aesthetic is a draw for some.

I have a Nikon Z with a 24-70 and a Fuji XE2 with manual focus primes and I like them both, for different things.

    • This one holds value much better than a sony. My last X100V even got sold higher than my initial purchase price….

    • Just ask yourself why do you want the camera? Is it for its technical specs or lens or whatever or is it because you think it will be fun or you wanna try it or you think it's would be an awesome camera to have?

If it's technical only then you know, if you care about the experience the camera will give you then is the Sony or Fuji the experience you want? Id go the Fuji every day of the week over the Sony simply because it's such an awesome and well executed, cool device that I think would genuinely get me out with it a lot. I think I would grow tired of the Sony as it's just a tool in my eyes.

  • Thanks, I bought one. I sold my X100V 8 months ago and was waiting for a good deal. Even second-hand ones aren’t at that price.

  • +1

Is there actually stock? Had issues with digidirect before, when I bought my x100v ($1900!!) they took the money but told me it would be months wait while they were awaiting stock until I got on the phone and made them send me one they had in stock at Bondi

    • +2

When I asked in the store about a month ago, they said the waiting time was around 2–3 weeks. George’s Cameras told me the same thing on the same day. JB Hi-Fi always shows stock available, but you need to go to the store and check in their system. Apart from that, George’s Cameras received quite a lot of stock 2 weeks ago, but it sold out immediately.
As you can understand, I’ve been checking this camera frequently for a while and I’m sure this is how the stock situation is. It’s not like the X100V case with long waiting times, but yes, you still have to wait a little. I hope they don’t cancel it at this price.

    • i walked into my local DD and bought one in late july with no wait or preorder

    • When I was checking out there are a few stores (Bondi Junction in NSW for example) have store and looks to be able to pickup immediately.

  • -8

So this is not a DSLR? Why would a camera noob buy this if they could afford?

    • +4

it's not really a camera for the noobs in the standard sense. Fuji have formed their own market with who these are targeted at.

    • +3

Hello Captain 2015, so good to see you in the comments

  • +6

    Anyone waiting for griv instead?

    • +1

      Super keen on the GRIV.

I went from the OG GR -> x100 -> x100s -> GRIII -> X-T20 and as much as I love the Fujifilm simulations, I miss the super compact form of the GR series.

So convenient and less debating if I should take the camera out as its literally pocketable.

      • +1

as far as use for pocket friendly cameras I went from x100 -> x100s -> rx100m6 because was chasing pocketability and pocket rocket zoom seemed fun -> xm5 + tt artisans 27mm because was chasing dof/IQ in a small form factor…now i dont know what I want

        • +1

          Both ¯_(ツ)_/¯

      • i'll prob give it a good 6-12 months to see how the bugs/quirks play out and get reviewed first.

        • gr3 is fun and at this rate, prices will only increase for these low-luxury cameras

    • Will it be the same lens options?

    • Yup

    • not gonna be cheap, i'll stick to my 3x.

  • very tempting! If only it's the silver option I would have clicked buy in a heartbeat.

  • +7

Digidirect will just take your money with no stock at all. You will one day had enough and request a refund (good luck) or simply forget about it.

    • +3

I aspire to one day be able to forget about a $2500 purchase that is yet to be delivered!

      • +1

well, to them they have nothing to lose.
        1. they hold your $ for nothing, free cashflow
        2. you forget about it, for whatever that is, $100 or $1000 doesn't matter
        3. you may end up in the situation of mwave, which is exactly what happen to me. AND they bought MWAVE and still not refunding my money.

  • a smart person will get an xe5 instead (even though it is still overpriced for what is) and a pancake lens. At least you can expand with other lenses later on.

  • +1

Ended up buying the Lumix S9 after waiting forever for the Fuji to drop. Kinda happy with my decision, S9 rips.

  • +1

I’ve handled this camera before, and it’s surprisingly light. I realized I enjoy the idea of using one, but in practice it didn’t quite feel like the kind of camera I’d reach for regularly. The lightweight build made it feel less solid in my hands, and I was hoping for something with a bit more heft. That said, I still find myself drawn to it even now, even though I suspect it would mostly end up sitting on my shelf while I used other gear instead.

    $2400 is totally a bargain.

Back in my day ahh scalpers were selling them on facebook marketplace for $3.1k and it was still moving regularly on Facebook Marketplace, ha!

Personally, even though it’s even lighter and smaller, I’m eyeing the Ricoh GR IV (I can wait!). I’ve got the Ricoh 1Rs Film and it feels fantastic in the hands. So it’s either something compact like a Ricoh, or something with a bit more presence like a Hexar RF.

Imo still want a x100VI though.

  • -1

Low effort question but if anyone's feelings charitable:

-Are this at all worth it to an amateur with some spare cash that love to take photos but has zero experience with "real" cameras?
-Is there much of a learning curve, eg without intimate knowledge/use of settings is it pretty useless?
-does it easily (single shot or auto mosaic) produce pictures of the density required for poster prints? Eg I've taken some travel shots with my s23 ultra that I love but as soon as you blow them up past A4 they obviously look rubbish.

Reason I ask all this that I got an entry level camera (Sony rx-100 iii) and I found that the effort to reward for setting it up for individual shots just wasn't there vs using my s23 ultra on lazy mode.

    • +5

Yes there's a learning curve. Just start off with a 2nd hand camera or less expensive camera. Photography is about the user not the expensive equipment. You don't need to spend $2.4k if you've never touched a digital camera before.

    • +3

if you don't have the appetite for setting up an rx-100 iii, then you won't get much more out of this…

      • +5

yeah rx100 iii still goes hard, popup evf is nice and it is actually pocketable.

if you CBF making that work, good luck with a x100vi, now you have something that won't fit in your pocket and is heavier.

No shame in just using your phone too, they are fantastic cameras compared to the days of old, even if the image processing is sometimes a bit heavy handed.

Have fun, take lots of pics with what you have, then you will have a better idea of why you want to upgrade

Practise taking photos not acquiring gear.

    • +3

Imo these cameras are more for seasoned photographers that want the "feel" of using vintage cameras. They're made to be manual (control dials vs command wheels and fn buttons) and as engaging as possible to use. Complete opposite of what you want.

Getting this or any other mirrorless just for point and shoot wouldn't really be worth it. Computational photography on your phone would net you better shots. You actually need to know composition and exposure triangle to get good shots.

If you want the quick and dirty way to look profesh, get a second hand full frame camera and the sigma 56 f1.4 or viltrox 75 f1.4. Crank the aperture and let the bokeh rip. Then when you get bored actually spend time to learn composition.

      • Imo these cameras are more for seasoned photographers that want the "feel" of using vintage cameras.

uh no, mostly just young tiktokers and wannabe influencers with cash.

if you want to feel "vintage" just pick up a used FM2 or K1000 and start shooting, way cheaper tbh.

Fuji's build quality is utter crap if you compare it with Leicas or film SLRs, they're not that tactile to use in manual actually.

If you want the quick and dirty way to look profesh, get a second hand full frame camera and the sigma 56 f1.4 or viltrox 75 f1.4

why would you put APSC lenses on a full frame camera lol

plenty of DSLRs available on the market, and cheap lenses too.

  • -5

You have kind of answered your own question already. Sony has some good cameras and lenses. But the general feel from many who shoot with them is that they are just that. good workhorse cameras. They miss that ..'thing' that got many into photography in the first place. These little fujis just seem to connect and resonate with photographers and a back to basics approach. They aren't perfect, don't have the best AF, but the shooting experience itself gives people the feel they are after. Then you add the fuji colours and all the film simulations which the community can share all add to the experience.
This is coming from someone who owns Sony, Fuji and Nikon. Some of my best personal photo experiences have come when I have had a Fuji in hand.
But saying that.. a Nikon ZF and a small prime make a pretty wicked combo too..

      • as much as I liked Fuji in the past, that autofocus is annoying. I'd get Zf and 40mm any day.

      • but the shooting experience itself gives people the feel they are after.

that is just pure marketing and gimmick. It's a point and shoot - not a true rangefinder, nor is it an SLR.

Not the most tactile either, the build is quite cheap if you've handled proper film SLRs.

It only looks retro, but in reality, most users will use it like a point and shoot.

do you really need to post your question twice? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/16830834/redir

    • its like cooking on a charcoal grill vs a gas bbq.

      personal preference…

  • clearly the silver is the one in hot demand lol

I've seen the Nikon Zf and the pairing 40mm at a similar price to this on amazon. I'd probably get that if I was in the market for something.

I own the x100v and x100vi since very early release. The x100v took about 5 weeks to get to me (in 2020, before any x100v hype). It was a digidirect order which I assumed was in stock (don't make that mistake). So please keep that in mind when ordering from digidirect.

I'm sticking to the x100 system because I really enjoy the current iteration of this fixed 23mm lens. Fujifilm's interchangeable 23mm's aren't as good. Factoring sharpness, close focusing and size when attached to another body.

Unless you're rigid on this lens, get something else.

  • Because of this I have to return the one I got form Amazon for $2,695.00 …

    Hope Amazon won't hate me.

    • Have you tried asking for price difference refund?

      • That has never worked in my experience so I don't bother.

        • Has worked for some, apparently. Much easier than returns, but maybe Amazon doesn't give a shit lol

  • Ordered an A7Cii and Sony G 40mm F2.5 lens yesterday after procrastinating over this for 2 weeks. Now I don't know if I should cancel the Sony order and grab this instead. I like the simplicity of this but keen to try Full frame and the focusing looks like it's better on the Sony. This is $1000 cheaper though. Arghhhh!!!! decisions..

    • get this if you like the style of it and dig the hype. it all depends on what you value

there's no defeating physics, and I get more details from my 30mp full frame camera compared to what the combination of 40mp sensor and fixed prime lens on x100vi can capture. I would not go from full frame back to APS-C as it would be a step backwards

this is a cool package for people who only need 35mm FOV, but I reckon there was no point increasing resolution in this gen of X100 because the built in lens doesn't quite resolve 40mp. so even if you shoot RAW you get 80mb worth of blurry pixels if you go down that path. 30mb files from my Canon give me more details than that..

so this camera is for fans. only fans. there's no logic or explanation behind it. no magic either. you either dig it or you don't. I used to dig it but the latest iterations are kinda lost on me. come on Fujifilm, autofocus like this is criminal in 2025.

      • Great feedback shabaka. I've had a Fuji X-T20 for years and only recently looked at the film sims as I normally shoot Raw. Only thing I was swayed with was the simplicity and built in ND filter but the Sony looks better for hybrid shooting which I intend to regularly switch between photo and video.

        • A7cii is an awesome camera that will be perfect at everything you throw at it. I would get one myself if I didn't hate Sony ergonomics (I shoot FF Canon, but I spent a few years with A7iii). 40G is an awesome prime. step up to 50 1.4 GM and I tell you this will be a perfect combo. or a 35mm GM if you like 35mm FOV. this will blow any Fuji setup out of the water whatever you do. even I on and off consider eschewing the atsthetics and ergonomics and getting a Sony setup again. but in what I do the benefits will be incremental if any..

          • @shabaka: I think this may be the way. The Fuji does feel a bit like a sidestep whereas the Sony looks more versatile even though I would probably only shoot one or two primes at best.
