Does it come with a free trial of Spotify and McAfee too?

Yeah, sure. I would love letting a random startup founded last year, with a privacy policy that basically says "we may store, share and sell all of your information", read all my email. /s

Congrats, you correctly identified the scam…

      • So it actually works?

    Sounds like a scam.

The app will probably harvest your data and sell it to advertisers, while charging you for the privilege.

  • Luckily not being targeted with scams yet.

or you just didn't notice yet ;)

I can only imagine the caveats, disclaimers & liability waivers included with something like this.

For sure someone in NAB got fat kickbacks to endorse this scam.

    • Apparently the startup (Scamnetics) raised $13M last month.

free spyware? how thoughtful. the app name and company name do not inspire confidence. they are dreaming if they think they can sell a subscription for $24/month

    • Yeah I initially read it as Symantec too. Wonder if that's intentional or I'm just blind

    • This is their business model. Publish an expensive (but not suspiciously exorbitant) subscription plan, then cut deals with financial institutions who offer it to their customers "for free".

Someone had a relative in this company

if something is free, you are the product

Big fat unnecessary lie of an app

  • We need something like this that is completely free and everyone can access it… Am tired of having to search Phone numbers on Google that call me just to get no results.

    • isn't that what reverseaustralia.com, reverseau.com etc do?

      • These suck. I've had numbers call me and Google says "Suspicious caller" I then go put the number into these websites and get no results yet it seems Google knows more about the numbers than these websites.

I even put the number on Google and it gives me even more useless websites that have little to no information.

  • yes Look sus. But when you login to NAB independently it is listed in the offers section. but yes poor form to click on links and not say go to offers section in NAB portal.

Update: so a bit weird. I did not click on the email link, I forwarded to the phishing nab email.

I logged in to NAB independently and in the offers section there was a link:- and when you follow it is says dont click on link or download aps and then offered education blog about scams— mind games. I think they are playing you.(NAb) to see how gullible you are. WOW gaslight.
