Shopback has upsized the cashback amount for Agoda. The cashback rates are as follows
Hotels: 14%
Package (hotel portion): 15%
Note: For Shopback plus, add an extra 1.0% on top of the rates above
This deal is not quite as good as the 17% cashback earlier today (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/920536), but it is still quite a decent deal and has no cap.
Do Not Use This Deal Blindly
Before booking hotels, I think it's best to check the hotel price using the following methods and find the cheapest one:
1. Search using Agoda Check the price of the hotel using Agoda using Incognito Mode without Shopback
2. Search using Google Check the price of the hotel using Google, by specifying the exact hotel and dates. This is often cheaper than method 1 above
3. Search using Agoda+Shopback Check the price of the hotel using Agoda with Shopback and calculate the price with the cashback. Keep in mind that the cashback amount may not apply to the tax portion of the price
Also, if it's available, use the free cancellation option and cancel/rebook later when a cheaper price comes up.
Note: Some OzBargainers have managed to get better prices (on top of the three methods above) using VPN. I haven't tried this myself and it may require a bit of trial and error in terms of the country chosen. Based on comments from other posts, it might be worth trying Bangladesh.

Any rejected, cancelled, refunded, exchanged or returned purchases will not be eligible for Cashback.
* For partial returns or exchanges, we'll prorate the Cashback as an adjustment.
* No-shows and any booking changes that lead to a change in the booking ID will not be eligible for Cashback.
Tracking Disclaimers
- Your Cashback may be tracked at a different rate initially and adjusted to the correct rate when we confirm the transaction details.
- Exchange rates may cause small changes to your purchase total and Cashback from some foreign stores.
