    Game trades for 9 bucks at EB, plus your bonus (10.80 for level 4)…basically 10 bucks off anything you were going to buy from the qualifying items list, but not good enough to use for the $10 minimum "trade two for" deals.

    Is it definitely valid for the Deluxe edition as per description? I tried it with that earlier and it didn't seem to work, but the Standard edition did.

        Nope. Game was fun. The same people that complain about "free speech" and "stop cancelling anyone you don't agree with" cancelled the game and tried to suppress free speech all over a 5 minute side quest

            @dowhatuwant2: People were sharing about the game with information that wasn't accurate. They were saying things like "I've played this game for 2 hours and came across this scene". It was 30 hours in when the scene came up. That's not boycotting. That's trying to cancel something

              @Moventura: While that scene was very embarrassing for them that scene aside unfortunately the game suffered from poor writing when compared to past bioware titles and was definitely a step down from Dragon Age 1 & 2.

              The game has a troubled development history which led to a lot of corners being cut. Hard to believe but Veilguard initially started out development as a live-service title. It shares a lot in common with the failure of Anthem.

    god EA really love to through these kind of games around, i mean even Mass effect trilogy got real cheap pretty quick this obviously sold badly so it's just everywhere.

    as for the game it's solid but disappointing, writing is weak and super gap filler quips between sparse story beats, looks good and is fun to play otherwise and characters can be solid depending on ur taste,

    if you want proper recent RPG's check out KCD2, Expedition 33 and Tainted Grail

    Mike laidlaw (dragon age: origins lead) also released Eternal Strands earlier this year if you want something in a similar tone of veilguards writing but just more genuine. though the game itself is more monster hunter lite.

        Check Humble Monthly too, there's some interesting ones this month.

        Persona 5 Royal, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden & My Time at Sandrock have all been on my radar. I played a demo of Sandrock back in one of these Steam Nextfest events and it was pretty good.
