Just found this from google search. This is the better speaker one, the new model is ending with xxxxxEV, but with a worse speaker, otherwise the same product. Direct shipping from manufacturer.

JB Hifi is also doing a promotion for $1399, and I talked to JB online chat and successfully got the price match.

  this monitor has dp 1.4

  is it worth paying more for DP 2.1 for future proofing ?

    Not really, this monitors max output is 4k@480Hz, if Dp 1.4 can handle it, then you will get no benefit from using Dp 2.1.

    It’s a digital signal. You would only need to go up from 1.4 to 2.1 for high bandwidth if you’re cable couldn’t handle the current signal. It either works or it doesn’t.

    Probs only need 2.1 for 8k@120Hz or something
