Looks like a pretty decent deal for those after a decent battery operated vacuum.

    Fatmax

    Really?

  • That's what it's called……what are you trying to say here?

I'm trying to say wtf is with that name? What were the marketing department thinking?

      • +3

Lol that name has been around for years. At least it wasn't Maxfat

      • My tool box is called Fatmax. Would that be more appropriate in your view?

      • Opinions are like assholes

      • The name originated from their tape measure which was fatter and had a maximum reach that was greater than other tape measures at the time.

    I'd personally prefer a thinmin

Looks like a rebrand of the black and decker powerseries from Big W. Had it for a few months and the roller head shredded its gear and stopped spinning. The power head is extremely loud and does not pick up all that much dust. The design of the dust bin also has a flaw where a certain part is impossible to get dust out of. I returned mine for a full refund after the roller head failed.

Ill accept your review provided u dont work in the brush and dustpan industry

    • So the Stanley model at $180 is still $49 cheaper than the Black N Decker unit. Thanks for your feedback :-)

Thank you saved me from buying this.

  • Does this suck or just sucks?

  • A stick vac powered by tool batteries is a good idea in theory but I don't see the point unless it's an established ecosystem.

for less money i would go the dewalt, also comes with a 5ah battery (via redemption) instead of 2ah.

also gets you into the dewalt ecosystem for cheap, the stanley range is too small currently.

Agreed. I purchased this free 5ah Battery + chargers https://www.bunnings.com.au/dewalt-18v-5-0ah-battery-and-charger-starter-kit_p0631555?srsltid=AfmBOopdUX7wBeMNw1dw7-AIcMlz80pS4cv_7BAmtYYKYJaLIev2XRdp($229RRP) basically free vacuum. Better than Dyson lol
