I have a Bissell SpotClean Turbo but it can't handle medium to large wet solids, and cleaning it after every use is a bit of a hassle. This one can be used with any plastic bag, which hopefully means less cleaning and less qualms about sucking up the really chunky messes (eg gardening, chunkier food spills). At 950 watts, hopefully even better extraction than my Bissell.

Main downside vs SpotClean et al is it doesn't have its own detergent dispenser, but a little pump spray and water should do the trick.

  Product specs are all over the place. 120V? 750Watts? Are you sure about the 950watt motor?

    That's based on the Specifications tab of their Amazon listings. I know, not the most reliable. Now that I go to Shark's site, it's 780w. Bissell's own site confirms the 750w. So pretty similar motor.

    Shark is lighter at 4.4kg vs my 5.8kg Bissell.

  As I’m a peasant from the bush Amazon wouldn’t deliver even though they said they would right up to checkout. HN wouldn’t price match as price was “below market “ (isn’t that the actual point of price match?) but TGG were happy to. I had to cough up an extra $10 for delivery which was fair enough. FYI anyone else in the same situation.
